This was my first experience with Candlewood Suites. I'm happy to say it was a pleasant one! The front desk staff were very welcoming and the room was great as well. This hotel, and some of the buildings around it, are brand new. The interior smells like a new car. Not unpleasant, but noticeable. The room, a one-bedroom suite, was spacious, although we would have like a King bed. We did manage to sleep two adults, two five-year-olds, and an eight year old, however. This Candlewood was very nice! It had a full kitchen and the rooms were very big! Nicely decorated. Nice front desk. And the free shuttle and free parking was a big bonus, since most downtown locations charge for parking and charge for a shuttle service. The outdoor pool was great too. Very nice and clean. more
