Ok the reviewer before me, "if you like the 80's" was reading my mind. They said exactly what I was feeling and the crazy thing is they were at the hotel the same days my family was. The pool was great, it was warm and there were all sorts of people hanging out it was great. The problem with the... more

Here's the deal: If you want a more modern facility, with newer decor, carpeting, furniture and plumbing, don't stay here. If you're visiting Holiday World and you could care less about a "funky" smelling and looking hotel room and just need a place to flop, this is the place for you! We got a "family suite," which turned out to... more

My family and I reserved a suite there on July 3rd, 2009 so we could take the kids to Holiday World. When we arrived there the lobby was clean and staff seemed to be friendly, we checked in, got to our room and opened the door, we were immediately bombarded with flies that swarmed us, so my husband starts swatting... more

We stayed during a visit to Holiday World as were many other guests. This is an older hotel with room doors opening to the outside. The room was extremely clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is reasonably priced and was very comfortable. more

C'mon people. Sometimes it seems like you just have to find *something* to gripe about! This ain't the Ritz Carlton but it's a fine little hotel. It's clean, it's comfortable, there's a nice pool and whirlpool. They've got free in-room high speed internet, the front desk people are great, the breakfast is good. They even have a gas barbecue grill... more

Not a bad place, we stayed there last week. There were 6 of us, 2 adults 4 kids. We didn't get into the place until 9 ish, and there were kids in the pool but so what. They were out by 10, and it was quiet after that. The office people were very friendly, and helpful when I needed info... more

When in this area for business, I tend to stay at the Comfort Inn in Ferdinand or the Baymont Inn in Dale. Unfortunately, the rates at those two hotels were mega-inflated because of the nearby Holiday World waterpark in peak season. I bit-the-bullet and stayed at this hotel against my better judgement for several days. This is an older hotel... more

Since all reviews are anonymous we could not check the room in particular for the problems with your rooms but did check several rooms at random. We found no extremely loud A/C’s or odd smells in any of the rooms. We also had Orkin come out and inspect the rooms also and found no evidence of bed bugs in any...

This was our second stay here during summer trips to Holiday World. Last year was pretty good, but this year was a bit hectic. The rooms are clean, but don't expect to be able to use the pool if you're traveling with adults - it's overrun with kids. The breakfast area, while plenty large, was also full of children running... more

We appreciate comments and suggestions from all our guests. Since that time the waffle station has been moved to it’s own area. Since this is a destination area due to Holiday World the kids are always going to be here in the summer. We do try our best to limit any inconvenience this causes, by offering alternative things for kids...
