I camped at Heartland years ago, and they had a clean pool, decent beach with a clubhouse, putt putt, entertainment, etc. Now it's all gone down the drain. It's clear management does not care what becomes of this place. They are openly rude to all guests-I asked about getting milk at the camp store and they all but shooed me... More

Bathrooms are nasty, the owner is rude. They have let this park run down. We will not go back again. We felt like we were being watched by the staff and campers. We were there 10 years ago and it was a very nice campground with clean restrooms, you could play putt putt, basketball, entertainment all the time and the... More

We just arrived home after a very nice 3 night stay. Everyone was friendly.....workers and seasonal campers. They have a great indoor and outside pool and golf area. They had music sat night. There is even area to fish. Looking forward to our next stay.

I will never return to this campground again. Its dirty and the owner has no clue about customer service. I had a nail puncture the sidewall of my tire while pulling into my campsite. The owner told me that they don't use that type of nail and said I didn't get it from there. All the tires were brand new... More

RUDE staff No security or rule enforcement: Hours of loud music from nearby campers that went on well beyond "quiet time" Small children driving golf carts.

If you have ever considered camping here, please reconsider. Campground practically sits on top of Interstate 70, so all you can hear is traffic & semi tractor trailers all day and all night. Good luck trying to sleep. The restroom and bath facilities were NOT clean. The laundry area was filthy. If you plan on family or friends stopping by... More

Had camped here occassionally for several years by ourselves & with 2 other families, and each exprience was great. Six years ago my wife & I decided to become "seasonal" campers--we stayed there from Apr. to Nov. We called 2 of our friends the day we signed up and they both did the same. This will be our 5th or... More

If this is a resort, then Elvis is alive. "Resorts" are not built on top of interstates, they do not have water so bad that it stains EVERYTHING, and they do not require the agility of an Olympian to dodge the golf carts that come at your from each direction. Beware!

The only thing that I can say that the other review said is true is that it is in deed by Highway 70 and you can hear it at night. My family and I stayed there the weekend of May 30th, 2009. We had an awesome time until a thunderstorm came through Saturday night. I was pleased with the way... More

3 nights over the Labor Day weekend at the Heartland Resort in Greenfield, just outside Indianapolis, was as close to "Camping in Hell" as one can get. We paid a premium for a tent site - no trees, just an open field, then had to pay extra for a day visitor, mini-golf, etc. The pool was inexplicably closed, leaving only... More
