We were told that we can't laugh. The curfew is at 10 instead of 11 and we were told three times to be quiet and we are not a party place. So if you expect to have fun then don't go to this KOA. They patrolled the area at least 6 or 7 times, and slowed when they approached our... More

If your definition of fun is drinking, being loud and obnoxious, playing guitar after midnight, you are at the wrong park. We are a fun place to be not a party place. Also a little respect of your group towards your camping neighbors would be too much to ask. We don't need business like this, please tell your friends to... More

The good: We learned our lesson: always check TripAdvisor reviews before making a reservation! The bad (1): We reserved online while on a road trip, so couldn't cancel without losing our first (and only) night's fee. It was only after making this payment that we were informed there would be a $3.50 pet pet/per night additional fee. There was no... More

Thank you very much for your very interesting comments. All our prices and information are available online or by phone. Our prices are based on two people, every additional adult, child or visitor pays an additional fee. Also we charge for dogs, it is a one time fee of $3.50 per stay. This is to maintain and clean our dog... More

First off this is not a campground, more like a lot with trees and rv hookups. The "nature trail" is about 500 ft through the woods, everything is overpriced. The people that run it are nosey. Basically camping in town Which defeats the purpose really. 60$ a night for nothing! Oh and their fresh baked cookies are basically bought at... More

Thank you for your comment. We are glad you found a campground now which you like. We have our safety and security rules in place and we try to enforce them in a friendly and encouraging way. And we're glad you know now where our Otis Spunkmeyer cookies coming from. From the oven in our store and not from the... More

Nice park but they charge for everything even visitors. We stayed for 8 days and were charged an extra $42.44 for our 2 dogs. ($7 per day) They reason we were there for 8 days was because my daughter lives in area. If she or the grand kids wanted to come and see us, they charged $4 per person to... More

The staff makes this place. They were helpful and very friendly. The sites don't have a lot of room but adequate space. (you won't be here there is a lot to do around here). The pool wasn't open yet but they were filling it and it looks nice. The laundry is very clean and huge washing machines. They have coffee... More

The employees could not be more helpful! So close to Notre Dame! The bath house is so clean and warm! There is a great Italian restaurant with in walking distance to the campground! Would definetly use this Koa again!

This is a wonderfully maintained campground. It is heavily wooded, scenic, and includes flat tent pads in each tent site. The bathrooms are clean, and 2 bagels and coffee are offered in the morning for only a dollar. Definitely one of the nicest KOAs I've been to. And, at $30 total price for a tent site (as of 2013), it... More

My husband and I stayed in one of their camping cabins because we arrived late and didn't feel like setting up the tent. It came to $40-something for the cabin and seemed very worth it. The cabin was adorable and clean, had internet, power, and AC. We arrived at Notre Dame the next day in a matter of minutes. Bathrooms... More

Staying at the South Bend/Elkhart North KOA was wonderful! Their facilities are lovely, it's right off the highway, and it was so reasonably priced. Thomas (the owner, I believe) is very kind and helpful. He met us at the entrance upon our 11pm arrival to show us where to park and get us all settled. Considering their office closes much... More

Stopped here after fighting Chicago traffic and needed a place to relax, this KOA was only 2 miles off the highway and you can literally walk to walgreens, gas station, subway and Italian place that was on the corner. As soon as checked in as we did not make a reservations, two young kids were very helpful in getting us... More
