We stayed at the Cool Breeze while attending a wedding in Evansville in Oct. 2004. The inn was beautiful and had original private bathrooms with antique fixtures. There were several different rooms, including a Scottish themed room and a "Gone With The Wind" theme room, in which we stayed. The room was decorated with Gone With the Wind memorabilia, and furnishings and lamps of the style of the mid 1800's. The room had a TV set in the armoire with Direct TV satellite TV.
The bathroom had an old fashioned toilet with separate tank and a separate bath tub and shower. All fixtures worked flawlessly. It is remarkable to have a real historic bathroom as many Bed and breakfasts had to retrofit private baths into the rooms.
Our hosts were quite friendly and talked with us after we got back from dinner, and made a great breakfast and talked with us at breakfast the next morning.
We would definitely recommend the Cool Breeze. Only thing we had trouble with is...
