Clean. Big rooms. Night clerk was helpful. Listed as having Truck parking but didn't. We had 3 trucks with trailers and had to park 2 across the street. The breakfest area is small in the main lobby one table. Beds where hard.

This place is strictly no frills, no breakfast to speak of, coffee in the morning, not bad, our room was the last one at the end, holes in the wall, bathroom door wouldn't close because of a poorly installed new wall to wall carpet, newly painted walls, but badly done, no artwork on the walls, just kinda plain and creepy.... I was surprisingly pleased at the quality of this hotel. When one hears Econo Lodge, one thinks of the old days when it was cheap and less then clean. This is my first stay at a new Econo Lodge pet friendly hotel and I must say I if they are all like this, why would anyone want to go else... More

So you are on a road trip without a planned stopping point. It's getting late so you pull up your travel app and start looking for a place to stay. You see that Econo Lodge in Elkhart is cheaper than the other chains in the area. You wonder if you should risk it. Go for it. It's fine. Good enough... More

About a year ago I wrote a review on this EconoLodge that was titled "Good Value". I have stayed several times since and after the last visit feel obliged to write this one. In my last stay, I was given a room that had a bad odor - though with a No Smoking sign, it smelled like stale tobacco, but... More

Less clean than average, old carpeting and stained mattresses. Huge room but little furniture - fine, just odd. Bathroom was clean enough. Sort of a creepy place, but for a random motel on the side of the highway in Indiana, about average. Staff was pleasant.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this Econo Lodge while in town for a wedding. The room (211) was nice and clean--had a king bed, mini-fridge, hairdryer, iron and board, and a small dining area off to the side. For a $50 one-night stay, the room served its purposes very well. If I ever find myself in the area in... More

I now know that they don't claim to have microwaves, but geez louise, these days I think the bare minimum is microwave, small fridge, and wifi. Think about it - if you're staying in an Econolodge, you probably don't want to pay for a restaurant! And if you arrive after all the chain eateries in motel row have closed, you're... More

The rooms are large, interior and furnishings in pretty good condition, fairly clean, about 60 seconds from the Indiana toll road, and inexpensive. You get points in the great Choice Hotels program. Some times of year the heat may have been off in your room and it can take a long time to warm up. The breakfast is a bare... More

Very dirty, stinky motel. The rooms are not very clean. We asked for a non-smoking room and we got a very stale smoky room. My son has asthma and I have a chest infection! We are travelling with our pet dogs, so we were not able to get another room at another hotel. Very nice city though.
