Stopped for one night because we needed a place to sleep and not other amenities such as pool, hot tub etc. price was great. Hotel is clean and quiet. Staff friendly. Agee with others that u need to bring own soap and shampoo but we usually do so not a big deal. Train nearby which goes by several times a... More

Pros: Clean (I inspected two rooms prior to stay and both were clean w/no smoking smell), crisp linen but bring your own pillow, comfortable mattress. WiFi free, HBO and satellite TV. I do know that some rooms offer mini fridge and microwave in room. Friendly staff. I believe it may be family run, very hospitable to me. Not always at... More

Not the Ritz but if you are looking for an affordable, clean, and quiet place to rest and refresh minutes from Muncie and Anderson, this would be a nice option. Older hotel, exterior entry door, free wifi. Beds were in great shape, pillows left a little to be desired as did the toiletries (bring your own soap and shampoo). Don't... More

My fiancee andI just happened to find this motel by chance. We are in the Muncie/Dalville/Chesterfield Indiana often. We've tried several motels from north Muncie, to the southern side, as well as, Daleville, Chesterfield and Anderson. We found customer service severely lacking in nearly all of them, and were not happy with our experiences. We came upon the Travel Inn... More

My dance ministry went to Indiana, Independence Day weekend for our yearly dance camp. We had originally planned to stay at the Travel Inn, however they did not have a pool. We switched our reservations to a different hotel, but after a horrible experience being forced to stay the night because canceling reservations still meant paying for the room, we... More

I was taking a group of middle school students to a conference at Anderson University and we needed a place to stay for one night. All the other motels in the area were booked solid so I took a chance on the Travel Inn. The man at the desk was very polite and helpful. He even gave me directions on... More

We had to stay one night and the person taking the reservation was really nice and polite. The person at the desk was really nice also. The room was clean and didn't have any cigarette odor. Taking large dogs around 100 lbs. each. No problem they accepted them. Not like most motels in the area wanting only 15 lb. dogs.... More
