This is our 8th time staying at the Inn by the Lake. The owners are wonderful welcoming people and always make us feel right at home. Each of their rooms are themed differently with nice bathrooms, microwaves, coffee makers and refrigerators. They all have nice modern flat screens with more cable channels than we have at home! Their daily breakfast... More

We stay here 4 or 5 weekends per year whille visiting our daughter at the academy. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean & comfortable and Gina's breakfasts are always tasty. We could probably find less expensive and equally comfortable accommodations in Plymouth or Rochester, but this place is so convenient - within walking distance to campus and to restaurants in... I have been spending part of my summers in Culver for over 25 years. On this occasion I opted to stay at the "Inn by the Lake" as this was a brief single night stay for my family. I was very pleased with the accommodations as they were clean and comfortable. Although the bathroom was a bit small it was... More

Great location but don't expect anything but the very basics. One heater unit in wall. No heat in the teeny tiny bathroom. Light in bathroom works only with exhaust fan running which removes the heat from the whole place. Hot water takes five minutes to get to faucet or shower. Very clean and thoughtfully decorated. Mini fridge and microwave came... More

Returning from Michigan just needed a room for one night on Lake Maxinkuckee in Culver, IN. Most places have 3-day to week minimum stay and this Bed & Breakfast did not require more than the one night. The B&B has 11 units and Gina was very pleasant and was able to show us each one. All had different themes and... More

I have been coming to Culver since the 1970's and have watched the revival of the town and lake properties. Whenever we visit our children at the Academy, we have opted to stay in either Plymouth or Rochester. I have had some bad accommodations at those 2 towns over the years! This time I found this property and I was very... More

Great service and a terrific breakfast. Yes, I think the place is a converted motel, but it is well maintained, has a great location, and Gina, the proprieter, is friendly and most helpful. And a fantastic cook -- the breakfasts were truly wonderful. Room was clean, and my wife thought the safari theme was cute. It's not cheap, but really... More

Keeping in mind that nothing in Culver comes cheaply, I thought my stay at this inn was worth the price. The room was decorated with a nautical theme with lots of shells, nets, boats, etc., quite charming. Other rooms are decorated differently, so maybe they were not as pleasant. November is not particularly busy in this resort town, so it... More

Made a decision to stay there for Culver Graduation based on a couple reviews I read online. I was warned by former Culver parents that this place is a glorified motel 6 just 5 x's more expensive. The beds were uncomfortable and room was dirty and the biggest frustration was the noise. There is a large gravel lot next to... More
