The outside is way run down. Supposedly they are undergoing renovation. The room was dirty. It was more humid in the room than outside. The bath tub faucet would not completely turn off and the drain would not completely drain. The restaurant was undergoing a change too. The pool was closed but I could not see anything wrong with it.... More

This was the only hotel within 23 miles. I wish we had gone the 23 miles. The rooms were small and water spots throughout the ceiling. Outside stairwells were closed with yellow tape due to 0 support. Plaster falling off beams. Blacked out windows. A scary hotel to say the least. But if you want to know what your neighbors... More

New management claims renovations but that's all we see, claims. Don't fall for the excuse. The beams that hold the outside roof are rotting away. Almost all the paint is either completely flaking or totally rusted. Room two doors down has an open door where the lock is removed at it is obviously kicked in. The entire exterior is in... More

Yes we have been saying that, for some time now, we are under renovations. When we took over the hotel, we were going into winter. During the winter we had, which I'm sure you had a similar winter, it's hard to renovate an exterior room hotel during the winter. We are finishing up the bids for our renovations right now.... We stay at this hotel at least once a year. This time because all other hotels were booked due to the Final 4 basketball games in Indy. It simply is not worth $89 a night! Room was clean. Heat from the window AC unit was noisy. Door had a metal plate over the door knob area--looked like the door had... More

John, I'm sorry to hear about your experience you had while at our property. My management company purchased the hotel in early August of last year. We have came a long way from where the hotel was before then and we are continuing to improve. There have been some hiccups on the way, but we continue to move in the... More

This is a large, older hotel that looks to be renovating parts of it. We were told we had the last double room available, but the parking lot was mostly empty and we were put on the far end of the motel from the lobby. Nonetheless, the room was comfortable, though the rooms were double beds instead of queens. Nice,... More

Thank you for taking the time to fill out a survey for our hotel. We are in the process of renovating two of buildings and also our restaurant. The hotel is in for a major transformation within the next few months. Here at the hotel, we are very excited for the much needed change, but most of all, we are... More

Our room was very nice, mostly updated, spacious, comfy bed, virtually no noise pollution from neighboring rooms, fridge, micro, and flat screen. The main complaints.. the Internet was horrible and bathroom very outdated and not so clean or else I would have selected 5 star for this quality.

Bea, Thank you for taking the time to fill out a survey for our property. We always enjoy hearing from guests on how we are doing, and your kind words are very appreciated. We recently had new 100Mbps internet service installed for the rooms. Hopefully, this will not be an issue for you in the future. We are very excited... More

The room was very disappointing and it did not reflect the renovations it claims. There was a huge stain in the rug by the front door and another under the sink. I can overlook stains in the rug, but the bath tub wasn't clean and had hair in it. The pillows smelled like they haven't been washed in a long... More

The outside does not reflect the renovations that have been done in the rooms, which is most important.the rooms are far from spacious, but have what you need and were clean. Breakfast was not comparable to most Quality Inns I have visited, but did offer scrambled eggs and sausage, although dry and cold. The advertised restaurant was closed and bar should be.... More

The new Quality Inn in Crawfordsville, Indiana was clean and up to most of the expectations we've established over the years in staying at Choice Hotels. No need to go into details....but just to let you know the manager, April, made am impossible situation acceptable. We thank her for that. She has a difficult job.....and her diplomacy was very much... More

We reviewed the comments before stopping for the night and were prepared for the worse but were presently surprised. Yes, the exterior is in rough shape. The layout is reminiscent of one of the first commercial hotels built in my home town in the late 1960s. This place is probably in its forth or fifth incarnation as a lodging and... More

Louis, I'll have to agree with you that the exterior of building is looking pretty rough. I can tell you that we have some ideas on to improve the appearance, so by the spring of 2015, the hotel should look completely different! Our new management company has many ideas on how to improve the look and feel of our property.... More
