...so ask for an odd-numbered room so you're on the opposite side (at an angle) off the highway...thankfully, I can sleep through most noise--vehicular (trucks passing through), mechanical (heater), etc. We didn't want to show up at our relatives' home at midnight so we chose to spend the night at this property. The staff we encountered (Front Desk, Housekeeping and... more

Hotel seemed to be recently updated and our room was great. Love the new vanities that Hampton is putting in. Very quiet place even though it is right by the interstate. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. more

We stayed at this hotel on our return trip from Virginia to Missouri. When I went to check in, the clerk greeted me with "How many carats is that?" referring to my wedding ring, which I felt was totally inappropriate. After we got to our room, the toilet backed up, and water was running out into the carpet. I returned... more

We went there just to get away and spend some time at the pool and hot tub and to sleep in late. I took my 12 yr old with me. The pool is only 3 feet deep and it is small in diameter. To be fair, the Holiday Inn pool is the same size, but they are both too small,... more

We stayed here while in town for the Kentucky Derby. The hotel was just average. The staff was very nice and the hotel was clean, but there was nothing special that stood out. There was a problem with the pipes and they kept knocking anytime any of the rooms around us used any water. It sounded like someone banging on... more

It was fine. They had a lot of the lobby area torn up for renovations. The HI web site never mentioned this nor did my confirmation e-mail. No problem because we never heard any noise. The indoor pool was even accessible but we didn't use it. Breakfast was moved to a guest room (minus the beds, etc.) Since this HI... more

We stayed for one night in July on our way to Holiday World. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The carpet and furniture was showing some signs of wear, but not too bad. There was some noise from other rooms, however the noise level seemed pretty common for this hotel price range. The hotel has... more

Stayed one night in transit to the midwest. Place was quiet, staff fine, nice pool, large breakfast area and above-average breakfast stuff. White Castle across the parking lot a late-night hit with teenagers. We had no problems and thought the place a fine respite between two 10-hour days of driving. more

Room was nice, bedding comfortable and breakfast good BUT two problems. First, someone decided to shoot off professional grade fireworks in the parking lot at 2am and it was the end of July, not the fourth. When I called the front desk to complain the night manager was less than concerned and he informed me that perhaps the hotel next... more

We chose this hotel because of my business travel experience with other Hilton properties. I hoped that it would live up to the reputation, this hotel did just that. We stopped sort of late, but the lady at the front desk helped us get a room that accomodated our needs. We slept wonderfully in a clean fresh room. Breakfast was... more
