Great B&B...lots of charm and character. We enjoyed the period-furnished (1870s) rooms...a step back in time, but with all the modern amenities. Corydon Indiana is a wonderful place to visit to get-away from busy life.

We took a weekend trip to Corydon, IN to visit some of the site, bufallo farm, glass factory, Squire Boone Caverns, train ride, etc.. and stay at the Kitner House. We stayed in a room on the second floor towards the back of the house so we were not disturbed by the street noise. I especially liked the drawing done... More

Being a veteran of the bed & breakfast experience and overnight stays in similar type places, I was rather disappointed and found the place quite unremarkable. If you have never been to a bed and breakfast before then perhaps you might enjoy Kintner House Inn. However if you're looking for a quiet room with nice amenities, an interesting place with... This B&B is overall very good, and has many interesting and period-correct furnishings for the 19th Century decor, making anyone who is a fan of history or antiques happy. The Inn is located within walking distance to a number of nice shops, restaurants, and historical tours in Corydon. Pros: Very nice staff, clean rooms, and tons of character. Close proximity... Although not a fan of B&B's, this was the closest accommodation available to the O'Bannon Woods State Park we could find. We did not stay for any of the breakfasts, although they smelled very good. If you love antiques, you will no doubt love this B&B. There are 13 rooms loaded with them. However, the bed clothing is worn. Ours... More

My company flew a consultant in to Corydon for our annual business meeting and booked a room for her at the Kintner House Inn. We thought we were putting her in the nicest hotel in town and it was important to make sure she felt pampered. We even hand picked the nicest room for her after reviewing them all. After... More

Our new adventure is to visit all 92 counties in Indiana, one a month, and learn about its history. The first county on this odyssey was Harrison County on May 31. We decided we wanted to stay in a B&B and Kintner's House website provided some interesting information. Since it was a last minute decision, only two rooms were available.... More

We loved our stay . It was our fist time at a B&B and it was quite an experience! The place is huge! I don't recall, now, the entire history of the place, but it's old and it's packed with history. The bed was comfortable, if a bit creaky. We really enjoyed all the old furniture. The documention on the... More

Stayed here on Nov. 30, 2007. Grand old hotel, beatiful place. We stayed in Hoosier Suite on ground floor. When we return, will stay upstairs. Very good breakfast is included with stay. A great restaurant across street ( Magnalenas).

We called the same day. When we arrived we were greeted by Alice, who was a nice as your aunt! She gave us a tour of the lovely home and gave us our keys. We were offered some lemonade and cookies that we could help ourselves to. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable for me and my... More
