Visited mid week on the spur of the moment - WHAT A BEAUTIFULLY MAINTAINED SITE!! We've been camping & motorhoming for 30 years & haven't come across such a high quality amenity block with all facilties - what a find. The owner & staff were very friendly & helpful. Hard standing areas had full facilities I.e. Water, electric, lighting, TV... More

Found this site by accident while looking for a last minute good weather weekend booking. What a find. On arrival Amanda on reception was so welcoming and helpful. The site was very spacious and the pitch size very large for our caravan. The toilets and showers were the best I've seen, honestly it would put some hotels to shame. Definitely... More

We stayed in the Blyth Lodge the bank holiday weekend and had a wonderful time. It's a well laid out and maintained camping/ caravan/ holiday home site - perfect for exploring the suffolk coast from. The staff are extremely helpful, I chatted to Fergus a number of times and his local knowledge was great. They obviously put a lot of... More

after spending 7 weeks touring with our Caravan in France, we stopped at this site in Suffolk on our way back "up north"! It was a great find, nice and handy for the beaches and local amenities. Fergus, the owner is friendly and helpful, and he showed us to our pitch which was in the "adult only" section, and this... More

We're new to the world of motorhomes and campsites but the Cakes and Ale site couldn't be a better introduction. The facilities are warm and spotless. They have family rooms where you can perform all of your morning ablutions without scurrying from facility to facility. There is a nice dog walking area. The site also has a short golf driving... We have stayed here previously and always found the site well kept and friendly. Stopped for the one night this year to find the the toilets and showers completely refurbished. 10/10 for the refurb, really excellent amenities on a nice site. Well done.

Been a while since I camped. Turned up here on spec, staff very friendly. Amenities were excellent. Free golf practice ground and tennis courts. Adults only area. Toilets and showers were absolutely spotless. Large pitch and very quiet. Would definitely return. Small world too as owner was related to old school friend. Cheers Fergus!

Stayed here for the Easter break in a party of two caravans. A beautifully kept site, with more space than most per pitch and with helpful jolly staff. There is bar on site which is open at weekends which was well stocked and very nice. The toilet block is superb, beautifully kept clean and has large individual toilet rooms with... More
