The Holiday inn in Columbus is a terrific place to take your kids or grandchildren for a fun day in the pool. The area where the pool, pool tables, ping pong tables and hot tub is in the older part of the hotel. However although it is older it is fairly well maintained. Vintage 1970's Holidome property, with layers of multiple remodels. Hidden under there is the original 1960's roadside Holiday Inn. On the outside this is an attractive motel. But the room we were given was in the back and was reminiscent of a much older motel. Ice machine didn't work on our floor so we had to go to another. Rooms are dark. They just don't put enough lighting in rooms nowadays. More

Beautiful hotel and clean as well. However, I was disappointed to find that they did not have flat screen televisions in the hotel rooms as I like to hook up my laptop HDMI to the television to play my movies from the computer. Otherwise, you can't ask for anything more. Don't count on a delicious breakfast but it was decent. More
