I can't remember staying in a more attractive, pleasant hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, with many thoughtful touches including: a great bathroom with a perfect shower that has a removable shower head, comfortable and really useable furniture including a nice desk and ergonomic desk chair, interesting color scheme in the room, good cooling controls (not frigid as is all too common), comfortable bed, LCD TV, a bright, airy, yet relaxing decor.
There are all sorts of quirky fun extras: 1) Miles, a cute, friendly, perfectly behaved dog that roams about the lobby ready to play or just snuggle for a minute, 2) The option to have a goldfish in your room -- they'll really bring one up in its little bowl 3) A book about Fibonachi numbers in the room. 4) Completely friendly, helpful, and unpretentious! staff. 5) REASONABLY PRICED BREAKFAST (breakfast burrito $4, bagel/cream cheese $2, fruit/granola/yogurt parfait $4, etc.)
I have stayed in $500+ suites, penthouse rooms...
