Stayed here with family for a weekend visit with my daughter, who was acting in a 4th Street Theater production, right across the street. The other 5-star Tripadvisor reviews are 100% accurate. This place is an incredible gem: historic, authentic and charming, with comfortable rooms, an unbelievably grand and beautifully decorated common area (perfect for lounging in front of the... More

We absolutely loved our accommodations. We stayed in the upper berth. Our room was very spacious! Beautifully decorated in train motif. Very comfortable bed with plus bedding. The innkeepers have truly thought of everything from bath gel in the shower to ear plugs because of the trains that frequently pass. To say the place is extremely clean is an understatement...... My wife and I recently stayed at Riley's Railhouse and we're already planning our trip back next year. I found this Bed & Breakfast featured on a Rail Fan site called Railstream.biz and it was even better than it looked. The Upper Berth was huge, more like a suite than a room. The king size bed was more comfortable than... More

Booked an overnight stay and was so glad I did! The hosts have thought of every detail in comfort, design, amenities and decor. Breakfast (made fresh) was delicious and plentiful. Very clean and homey, but still an exciting place to explore. It's also close to a quaint downtown with various dining options. I highly recommend this fabulous B&B to anyone... More

We traveled to Indiana to visit my daughter and her new husband who live in southern Indiana. We all took a trip up north to visit the Indiana Sand Dune National Park. The railhouse was an excellent location to the Dunes. Since we booked both upper and lower rooms we had the entire place to ourselves. It was practically like... More

Booked a 2 night stay in the upper berth room. Clean & comfy room with 1 King Size Bed, 1 Sofa Bed & a smaller child type bed. Flat Screen TV. Shower gel / Shampoo / Conditioner provided by inn in it's own unit inside the shower. They even provide a bottle of air fresherner in the bathroom. Breakfast was... More

We stayed here on a recent trip back to Chesterton to visit family. My wife and I were a bit reluctant to stay at a B&B with a 14 month old, but Rich and Ann Marie (and dogs Jackson and Chloe) were welcoming all of us. The Riley's have done an excellent job with this B&B. The rooms and lounge... More

This is an awesome B&B right in downtown Chesterton. Food, hospitality, and ambiance are all excellent. Unique and quaint with two adorable dogs to keep you company. You will feel right at home as long as you don't mind the trains that go by once in awhile.

Very kid friendly, fabulous breakfast, and excellent hospitality. The bed and breakfast is close to the beach and restaurants within walking distance. The decor is so cute and interesting-- all trains.

I'm not a train fanatic, but I always love the idea of a place that builds off someone's passion. The B&B is really cool. Even if you are not a fan of trains, you can appreciate the level of detail and attention that goes into maintaining this Bed & Breakfast. The great room is friendly and welcoming. The guest room...
