Attention to detail says it all. Ann truly loves operating her Bed and Breakfast. Everything stated in other reviews of all the little things done, is absolutely correct. We stayed two nights, both of which Ann welcomed another guest between midnight and 1am-amazing I know I would not be that accommodating. She had 4 hours sleep, yet smiling and informative... More

When we arrived at the Murphy Guest House, there was a cute little sign with a chalkboard welcoming us to our room. We had a wonderful view of the garden from our room. There was also a tray with crackers and cheese, grapes, and chocolate covered strawberries with our initials on them! Ann gave us a nice tour of the... More

We have stayed in a lot of B&B's over the years but this one really stands out! Ann is an excellent and gracious hostess. Her rooms are beautiful and comfortable. But her food outshines most Bed and Breakfasts in which we have stayed. She is a fabulous cook and baker. You must come and see for yourselves! We will definitely... More

This is our third time at Murphy Guest House and as always everything was perfect. Ann is a wonderful host who pays close attention to detail. Everything is spotless and decorated just right. From the tray of goodies in the room, (including chocolate covered strawberries with our initials on them) to the absolutely delicious breakfast to the large selection of... More

Ann's attention to detail and her ability to make guests feel welcome and important was amazing. As we arrived we were welcomed with cookies and coffee or tea. Signs of welcome were outside the bedrooms, and inside was a delicious snack of cheese, crackers, grapes and huge chocolate covered strawberries with our initials on them! In the hall was a... More

The Murphy Guest House in Bristol IN provided me a pleasant stay during my recent Notre Dame Football weekend trip. I offer a number of compliments below. The breakfasts served during my Nov 2013 stay were Stately Feasts. Breakfast typically started off with homemade pastries and breads accompanied with homemade curds and jams. Second courses featured bowls of warm poached... More

This was my first B&B stay, and Ann has truly set the bar high for others in the future. Everything about the stay was amazing. Ann was accommodating with a late check in and early check out; the welcome plate of cheese, crackers, grapes, and chocolate covered strawberries was delicious; the breakfasts were extraordinary (everything was great, but the lavender... After 20 some years of B&Bs, we think this is the best one we have found. Ann's attention to detail and knowledge of the local area is awesome; plus she is willing to advise without being bossy. We loved all the small details and amenities which were there but not over the top. The beds are comfortable and the food... More

No one will make you feel more welcomed and more at home than Ann at Murphy's Guest House. From the moment we arrived she was friendly and warm. She even made me gluten free snacks and breakfast when she found out I was gluten intolerant. The inn is in a great location, nicely decorated and all at a great value.... More
