From the time we rang the doorbell until we said, "Good-bye," we were made to feel at home in the elegant Victorian setting. We did not need lunch because the breakfasts were so large. We found a plate of snacks in our room when we arrived including chocolate-covered strawberries with our initials on them. There was a devotional book on... More

I stayed at Murphy's guest house when on business in Bristol. A guest house is not immediately what comes to mind when traveling for business but this was an experience unlike any other business trip I have been on and a welcome change. Just make sure you bring your "Fat" clothes because Ann is a cook beyond belief and will... More

We stayed at Murphy Guest House from the 21-23th Sep. since we wanted to experience the Armish community and learn about their faith way of life. This was our second visit the area and Myrphy Guest House since our first made a perfect impression. And we were in no way disappointed! We so love everything about the place - most... More

Was looking for last minute getaway with my daughter for Labor Day weekend and found Murphy Guest house online as we wanted some place close by Amish country. Ann went out of her way to make our stay special and boy can she cook! Let's just say personalized strawberries upon our arrival were amazing and so thoughtful! We will definitely... More

We loved staying at Murphy Guest House. Ann Andre is the main reason for such a beautiful experience. Her attention to detail and her friendly, welcoming hospitality plus her extraordinary culinary skills made our visit to northern Indiana top notch. The central location made seeing the full Heritage Trail very manageable. We felt like we were home with our best... More

My husband and I stayed at Murphy Guest House as the result of a gift certificate from my siblings for our wedding. The stay was wonderful. Ann greeted us warmly and invited us to try any of the teas waiting for the tasting. She had so many to choose from! The bed was comfortable and we overslept our first morning!... More

Stayed here for the second time, taking my daughter to her music camp. After a long day on the road, grappling with Chicago traffic, it's heaven to be greeted cheerfully and calmly by Ann, and to enter that beautiful home. The room with the 2 twin beds is perfect for us, and the plate of snacks was to die for... More

Dear Marika and Mina, thank you so much for your very kind words. I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay even though it was short. It is such fun talking with you ladies, and I am so proud of Mina. Hope she loves, loves, loves her music camp this year. Blessings, Ann More

We LOVED our stay at Murphy's Guest House. Ann is the ideal hostess. Her attention to detail is exemplary. Upon arrival, we had a plate of snacks waiting for us with chocolate dipped strawberries, complete with our initials! The fact that she had wonderful toiletries, turn-down bed with mints, an unbelievable assortment of teas to drink whenever you want, bottled... More

This B&B is truly a gem and a rare find. It has charming exterior with a whimsical garden. The interior is beautifully staged with antique furnishings. From the second you walk in the door you get this overwhelming feeling of warmth. Ann was kind and very knowledgable about the area. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay... More
