This B&B is truly a gem and a rare find. It has charming exterior with a whimsical garden. The interior is beautifully staged with antique furnishings. From the second you walk in the door you get this overwhelming feeling of warmth. Ann was kind and very knowledgable about the area. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay... More

We had a delightful stay at Murphy Guest House. Ann is a gem. She is a fabulous inn keeper/chef and very enjoyable to chat with over breakfast. Breakfast was gourmet and Ann sees to every detail. Flowers from the garden, snacks and little tubs of ice cream are just a few of the treats! Exceptional!

I had a wonderful stay. Ann's attention to detail & interest/attention in the reason for my visit created an exceptional experience. A foodie in every sense -- Ann is a tasty, creative & artful chef; displays a wall of teas to choose from; provides several salt options & offers ginger candies! My room was clean, comfortable & quiet. I will... More

We had a wonderful stay. Don't let the typical traditional victorian house fool you, nothing about they stay was a typical bed and breakfast. From the vast number of teas options, to homemade cookies daily, to the personal touches in the room. Ann's attention to the detail made it a wonderful experience. The breakfast was not only abundant but flavorful.... More

This Bed and Breakfast experience is unlike any other. You will not believe the degree of thoughtfulness, kindness , and hospitality that Ann, the owner, gives from the second you arrive. I would give examples of such, but I honestly font want to spoil one thing for the first time visitor. If there was something that could have been added,... More

We have stayed at Murphy's Guest House on 2 occasions and have not been disappointed either time. The hostess, Ann Andre, is very gracious, knowledgeable about the area and is a fantastic cook offering her guests a gourmet breakfast each morning. What more could you ask for! The B&B is near the major attractions in the area and if you... More

Thanks Ann for the peaceful retreat. The bed was amazing, and the room was quiet. Despite being at a busy intersection, I felt insulated from the world. Breakfast was more than adequate, and the 60 flavors of tea (while I didn't try them all) were delightful to browse through. Blessings!

Upon arriving at the Murphy house, we were greeted at the door by Ann. With her big smile, we instantly knew this would be a place we liked. The house which was built in the 1800's was decorated as such and very clean. Ann gave us a tour and we went to our room where a welcome sign stood with... More

We stayed with Ann for the weekend of my daughter's wedding. She had everything all set up and was waiting for our arrival. The accommodations, meals and service were uncompromising. The garden with fountain was very relaxing and a welcome spot to unwind from all the wedding festivities. We had a great stay!

Attention to detail says it all. Ann truly loves operating her Bed and Breakfast. Everything stated in other reviews of all the little things done, is absolutely correct. We stayed two nights, both of which Ann welcomed another guest between midnight and 1am-amazing I know I would not be that accommodating. She had 4 hours sleep, yet smiling and informative... More
