If you expect a Crowne Plaza you will be very disappointed. It should be a low end Holiday inn. The Hall ways smelled musty. The rooms would not cool down below 76 degrees. The beds are not a normal Crowne Plaza quality (Old Radisson sleep numbers). There was no one to take our luggage to our room. If it was... more

This was my fourth visit to the Crowne Plaza .The Sleep number beds are very comfortable. There was a relaxation CD in every room which was a nice touch. The bar and lobby area are a great place to meet and hang out with friends or family. The only difference I noticed from my previous visits was the hallways didn't... more

Even before arriving at the Radisson (now Crown Plaza), Jeremy and his staff were extremely helpful in answer all our questions and accommodating us in preparing our daughter's graduation celebration from Indiana University. The rooms were very comfortable with its Sleep Number beds and down-like comforters and pillows. The cuisine at the restaurant was well prepared and plentiful and the... more

I understand that this hotel has long been considered a dumpy choice - not anymore! It is true the exterior is very plain, the inside looks terrific and the staff is wonderful. The lobby has a nice flat screen and couch area with a small but nicely decorated bar area. The rooms have sleep number beds and lots of nice... more

The hotel's phone lines are not the same as listed in the packet in your room. You can call the room service line, and it will ring and ring and no one will answer it . The restaurant and room service are fair, at best. The hotel itself is set up more like a motel, with outside exits and entrances.... more

Our family stayed at the Radisson during a visit to the University. I chose the Radisson because of the tripadvisor reviews, even though I had a very nice stay at the Holiday Inn Express last fall. While the decor is very nice there are other amenities that are lacking one of which is a pool and hot tub. There is breakfast... more

I had the best experience with the Radisson! Jeremy helped us via the telephone with our reservations. He really "hooked us up." My partner and I went down with another couple for the GLBT film festival. We had such a great time around the hotel that we didn't make any of the films! We met two of the owners, who... more

With our son attending IU, my wife and I get to Bloomington approximately every other month and usually stay at different hotels in the area depending on who has the best price. The Radisson just opened in September 2007 and this was the first area hotel that we stayed at twice. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the sleep-number bed... more

Finally a hotel with a restaurant and lounge in B-town! The food is good and the lounge is fantastic. How nice to not have to walk a block in the cold, just to have a meal and a drink. Staff was friendly and the Hotel is the best in Bloomington. I will be staying here again and again. more

We stayed at the Radison in Bloomington purely due to availability (there was an IU game the same day), and did we luck out. The hotel was extremely clean and modern. The rooms had sleep number beds and looked like they had been newly updated. There is a restraunt and bar downstairs, and the bar makes a mean martini. We... more
