I stayed here for one night during a recent visit with relatives at Indiana University. I was drawn to this place because of the famous lines ("we will leave the lights on for you") of the commercial featuring Tom Bodett. It was one of my worst experiences. Awful room with strong smell of cigarettes, buckled floor, poor and noisy air... More

You get what you pay for. Cheap rental, cheap room. Nothing showy or fancy. Just 2 beds, dresser, sink, toilet, shower. Everything thing felt small. TV is an old cathode-ray tube, not a modern flat-screen. Towels are small & thin. Straight out of the 60s-70s. Classic "psycho"-styled motel, parking right out the door & convenient. Light fixtures needed knobs. Clean... More

I asked for a room with a microwave and fridge and I did get a room with that and on the plus side amazingly enough they were clean inside. I always travel with my own sheets, blankets and pillows so bedding was not an issue and the bed itself was okay for comfort . The bathroom is a whole other... More

This is your typical college motel. It is a place to lay your head for the night at a very reasonable rate. Although somewhat worn down, I spent several quiet nights there without incident. Remember, you get what you pay for, and this is definitely the case here.

We should have headed advice from the other reviews and booked elsewhere, but the low cost beat our commonsense. The first room we were assigned smelled of stale cigarettes. The keys didn't open the second room and after going back to the front desk for the fourth time, we were assigned a third room. This room had a only a... More

There are a few positives. 1- very cheap; 2- friendly staff; 3- good location to IU. Traveled here for two nights to drop a child off at IU. Thought the motel would be ok for the two night instead of paying $$$. I was wrong! The room was soo run down and the smell of cigarettes was unbearable. The bathroom... More

The worst experience of a hotel stay I ever had. The night staff look very unkept. People hanging out in the parking lot. The hotel looked like it was for vagrants or the homeless. I had cover the bedding with my own bed clothes and did not use their pillows. Both rooms next to me where filled with old furniture,mattresses,... More

The motel was run down, old, and had extremely cheap everything. While I had no problems with others, I kept my eyes open and scanning when walking there at night as it did not seem particularly safe - supported by the fact that at night when checking in you can only do it through a safety window that protects the... I read the reviews, looked at pictures and despite all signs pointing away from the Motel 6 I didn't listen. The price and location got me. The hotel is absolutely terrible. It's dirty, it smells like smoke, it has roaches, there's shady people living in the rooms, the fridge and AC leaked, there's rust, mold, and dirt all over the... More

We had to move from the first room due to the smell of smoke. The front staff was very accommodating about changing rooms. The bedding was stained in both the first room and the second room. At night, people were hanging out in the parking lot and walking about the property. The only positive thing that I can say about... More
