Came to Bloomington for a basketball tournament and arrived late Friday to a room that could not have been cleaned in months. Three small bars of partially used hotel soaps was left in the shower, room smelled old and dirty, shower head was missing the middle piece and the drain stopper was sitting on the side of the tub. Tub... more

This room had several major problems. Unfortunately, we arrived late and only recognized the most severe problems after we were much too tired to seek a refund and go looking for another motel. If I hadn't been accustomed to primitive camping, I probably would not have stayed here. Problems are listed below: 1) We discovered LOTS of hair and debris... more

Everything was scary about this experience from the late night through a glass window check-in to the aweful room. The room had a horrible smell, the carpet was worn and stained. The bedspreads were so worn they were thin and had holes in them. There was no clock. the mattresses were plastic and the blankets dingy. I wouldn't even take... more

Well, it's true. You do get what you pay for with this place (in my case, $70 for one night - so not THAT cheap). I've stayed in a lot of budget hotels/motels, but this one was rough. I will say that the room and bathroom seemed clean, and I didn't have problems with noise, though of course the parking... more

Awful... The room was so smelly and the floor seemed to have been vacuumed...ahh...NEVER. I found a bug, which I have never seen on this planet, in the bathroom. Some half-naked guys were smoking outside the rooms, walking around, and spitting. Stay away from this motel...it may seem to be cheap, but it's still a waste of your money. more

This place was just fine, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good deal (it was the cheapest place I could find in town). I paid just over $100 for 3 nights. Room was clean, service courteous, etc. There was a little bit of noise from the next room on Friday night but it ended quite early. Location was... more

Unreal. This place had cigarette butts, peanuts, plastic cups and other assorted trash under the beds. The smoke detector had been removed from the wall and was lying on the television set. I killed one bug and saw others. I was exhausted from a long drive or else would have checked out immediately. When I did check out I got... more

As you might expect, Motel 6 is very budget. I don't think there was an elevator although there were only 2 floors. When we checked in the guy was watching TV and reading a magazine. The room was pretty spacious, but very outdated and old. The window opened up to the parking lot with no screen nor any safety protection.... more

Stayed after a football game. Paid $85.00 for a dirty smelly room. The sink and the showers did not drain, the TV did not work, there were only two small towels for 4 people. No table or clock in the room, the beds were old and worn, the carpet was torn away form one wall and there were way too... more

Despite some bad reviews, we gave this place a chance. We REALLY needed somewhere to sleep that was close to the State Park in Brown Co., it was too cold for me to sleep in a tent. For the price, we decided to try it. WOW!! We were impressed. The most comfortable beds ever, better than the one we have... more
