Stayed for business at a corporate rate. Average room but very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and professional. Since a quiet room is in my profile, my room was in the back and faced the covered multi-level parking lot. This is a very nice hotel. Check in was a breeze, very friendly and helpfull employees. It is downtown, within walking distance of the University, shopping, reataurants, and bars. I went to IU, and it is a great location to get to Kirkwood, Irish Lion, Crazy Horse, College Ave and Walnut --- within walking distance to all of the popular bars and restaurants. Definitely above average. Nice room, helpful front desk people, no problems or glitches. Parking free and convenient. Only complaint: their breakfast, $10.00, has small portions, lackadasical staff (so you don't want to ask for more), and lousy juice and coffee. Get breakfast elsewhere, but otherwise, this is a nice place to stay. more

My husband and I had to make a quick trip to Bloomington last month and made reservations at the last minute. The hotel was very nice and the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious.
