I have mixed feelings about this hotel. On the negative side, when I arrived, there were problems with the room keys that took a half hour to resolve before I could get in. The room, on the "executive" level, or whatever they call it, looked a bit dated, with a cramped bathroom. On the positive side, the staff was friendly... more

This is a busy hotel in the south of Chicago which has lots of functions and business travellers. The staff are extremely friendly, and service at the bar and in the restaurant is relaxed but efficient. The rooms are showing their age a little but are very comfortable and there is a lovely outdoor pool. I would definitely stay here... more

My boyfriend and I meet at this hotel since we are in a long distance relationship. In any event, we've stayed here about 8 nights in the past year. The weddings on Friday and Saturday nights are typically "trashy", but not too loud or anything. This hotel is gigantic; totally full of sub-par rooms. There is nothing exceptional about this... more

Really old looking and worn out, beds were marginal. They put me in a non-smoking, but it was near other smoking rooms, and the whole area REEKED. They switched me to another room however, but right near a utility room, so a lot of corridor noise. The water from the taps had a really horrible taste! Must be the hotel... more

I was able to get a corporate rate of $89, but I don't think I would be willing to pay the full price of about $125. The hotel has a decent resturant and lounge area and as a platnium priority club member I was put on the executive level of the hotel where there was a free happy hour with... more

My company has used this hotel for many years, however it seems this hotel has had it's day in the sun! The advantages (Very few) are a good breakfast and a restaurant/bar on site. The disadvantes are the hotel rooms are old, run down, carpets dirty, bedding old, bathroom floors worn, showers run down. The hallways are often not clean... more

Stayed here a few times on business because its close to where I need to be. Cannot say anything really good or bad but I guess could be a little cleaner. As with many hotels in the USA as opposed to Europe, it has free internet access. more

I went on internet to find suitable accomadations for myself and my sons for a mini vacation. Stress my guts out, booked one hotel only to cancel at last minute because of bad reviews. I ended up booking at a hotel near this one, actually drove by it and told my boys that we were just going to "pop" into... more

We lived near this hotel for several years & ate its excellent Sunday brunch many times. Before this trip we had stayed overnight in 2002. Our expectations were high -- and we were disappointed. The concierge level is dark and dingy. Its doors are scratched, chipped & old. The whole floor needs a redo. Rooms were small & staff actually... more
