Friendly staff. Clean and well kept. Tour bookings were smooth and cheap. I only booked one night and decided to stay another. They had to move me to another room but I didn't mind. Surrounded by Palm Trees, right on the beach and next to a Circle K. No complaints from me. If travelling by train from Ho Chi Minh... More

We booked a family room mid August. The room was OK for the money (USD44) but that was it. The location was neat but everything is much smaller in reality than it seemed from the pictures on the internet. What disturbed us most is the fact that Backpackers does NOT have a beach. The sand in front if the location... More

It is a good price for a nice room with air con and amazing views. The pool is very small and more like a Jacuzzi, but the sun beds overlooking the sea more than make up for it! Staff are friendly and accommodating.

My friend Sinead and I had a great stay here at the beginning of July; our accommodation was as good as any hotel and was practically on the beach. Beer in mini bar was cold, all in all it was a Terrific place to chill out and sunbathe.

This place is very organized and affordable. The WiFi was mediocre and some outlets in the room didn't work, but overall we had a good stay. The location is great and the staff are very helpful and speak perfect English - a rarity in Southeast Asia.

Mui Ne is a lovely place and we really enjoyed our stay, the rooms were very comfortable and the hostel was nice. The main problem we had was the manager (could have been the owner) was incredibly rude the whole time we stayed. So much so that he really has put me off ever staying here again and I would... More

The photos on the site looked really good, and upon arrival, we realised that the pretty pool is actually little more than a large tub. i really wanted to like this place, with its white washed walls, coconut trees and loungers by the beach. but first of all, the beach is gross with giant clumps of spongy foamy things (like... What a great little spot. We decided to try some backpacker accommodation on our visit to Mui ne, not knowing what to expect. Now I can see that "backpackers" doesn't just mean cheap and sometimes nasty accommodation for people on a budget. What more could you ask for? Mui ne backpackers has a prime position right on the beach with... More

The Resort uncomfortable for Vietnamese person. 1) The room haven't got any tooth-brush, shampoo, comb, tea, even the glasses ect... 2) The double bed room ( Ocean View) was too small for 2 guests When i and my family was there, my family want to drink some of beers. I went to the receptionist and asked her some Ice.. But... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Mui Ne Backpackers was one of the first guesthouses to open in Mui Ne, back when Mui Ne was a little-known coconut grove with a few woven huts along the beach. From those early days until now, this family-run property has been one of the most popular budget alternatives to the big resorts that have popped up along the main road. Mui Ne Backpackers has long been recommended by Lonely Planet and other reliable travel guides. ... more   less
