After working a midnight to 7am shift the night before and crashing for a few hours rest, I attempted to checkout at 2 pm. Normal checkout was noon and they forced me to pay an extra 1/2 days rent in order to checkout late. Never had a problem like this and I suspect this was isolated to this particular Marriott.... more

I stayed here 2 nights for a horse show at lamplight Equestrian Center in Wayne. The $ 85 AAA rate was great. The Courtyard in St. Charles wanted $ 50 more per night, but St. Charles is a ritzy town. The hotel was fine, lobby was clean so the staff has taken care of the problem in the previous review.... more

This was a satasfactory hotel. The rooms were clean enough, but the lobby inside was revolting. It looked like they hadn't cleaned it in weeks. Also, we were horrified to find patches of mold in the shower. I love the Marriott hotel chain, but I would stay at one of their other locations if I wanted to stay in Chicago. more
