We reserved a 2 room King Suite. The room was clean, but shabby and dated. The room had one TV, and that was in the sitting room. We were there for a wedding and my partner went to the room early because he put his back out. I call the front desk to ask for either another room, or someone... more

We are currently making plans to renovate the room type which you were in, it is a King Suite with a half wall and only one television set. The room will be renovated to have two televisions (hopefully flat screens) in the future, so guests will be able to enjoy watching television from either the sleeping or sitting area. Unfortunately...

We stayed at the Ramada Inn in Waukegan October 15-17th for my nephews Naval Graduation. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were instantly greeted with a sign welcoming Navy Families. We arrived over an hour early but it wasn't even a question of checking in. The staff there was amazing, very informative, and very helpful. The hotel is not a... more

I stayed here with my wife and her parents for three nights, for my brother in law's Navy graduation. The hotel is older, but otherwise looks okay. Our rooms had a horrible moldy smell, and on one of our nights there was quite a bit of noise in the hallway. The breakfast was fine--about what you would expect. If you're... more

Although the building is old, as I read in 1 review, it is very comfortable. As a single woman traveling alone to a Navy graduation, I found it wonderful. I stayed at another hotel 1/2 mile down the street when I was here 2 monthes ago for bootcamp graduation and it was not nearly as nice for more money per... more

Ok, this hotel stinks. Our first room was unbearabley stink, like moldy and some undefinable smell, and had water stains on the ceilings. The hallways smell pretty nasty, too. The second room smelled like moth balls and the bathroom smells like stale urine. It was late at night and we took the second room, but we are looking for other... more

I was very disappointed when I arrived at the hotel the staff was very nice but to my surprise when we checked in we found out there was no elevator. I have never been to a hotel with no elevator so we had to drag our bags up to the second floor (what are the handicapped supposed to do if... more

I've stayed at this motel twice now, both times for a Navy graduation. I liked the shuttle service so I didn't have to worry about parking and dealing with graduation traffic. The first time I stayed at this hotel, I was on the 2nd floor, and my room was clean and comfortable, nothing fabulous though, but alright. Then second time... more

My wife and I called the Ramada In Waukegan about booking a room for our family on July 13Th. I saw the room I wanted and contacted the hotel direct. WE had to speak with 3 different people and when we finally spoke with Lonnie he said the room I was looking at on their site was not correct. WE... more

We have no Lonnie on staff at the hotel, and I assume the guest was speaking with someone from Ramada Worldwide Reservations. I am sorry that they were not able to provide you with the correct information. They have a direct connection to our property inventory and can see all available room types and packages. We have many different room...

We chose this hotel for our sons Navy graduation because they provided a shuttle to the graduation. It had one good point and a major stalker issue but it was not related to the hotel accomodations Hotel: The hotel itself is older and the hallways stunk and I mean stunk. The continental breakfast was to be expected. The upside to... more

Although we have referred this limo service in the past, due to this specific incident we have decided to eliminate Johnny Cool Limo from our list of approved transportation companies. Although we have no connection with this company, we want to feel comfortable with the transportation choices we distribute to our guests. While we have never received any complaints regarding...
