If you are attending a boot graduation, I would strongly urge a family to stay at Navy Lodge or upgrade to Holiday Inn. Candlewood has no vents in the bathrooms, no daily housekeeping, it is difficult to enter from the north. You must go down a block, make a U turn and enter from a side street. This is a budget minded suite hotel. Pluses: The price was reasonable for what you got. There was a small fridge, two burners, and a microwave. The room was clean, except for the microwave.
