I only stayed here about 10 hours, but that was definetly too much time. I stayed at this hotel for one night, because I had some meetings at my companies head quarters in the Vernon Hills Corporate center on the west side of Milwaukee Ave, which was one of the main redeeming qualities as to why I picked this hotel. The other is that it is the least expensive in the area, but for good reason.

The evening staff was nice, and I was actually the guest of the day, yeah. I received a plastic cup with candies and a pencil, all in pink for Valentines day. It was a nice gesture and a little ray of sunshine in the dismal interior design that is this hotel.

The room is sparse, and when I say it was minimum on furnishings, it was bare bone. All the walls were white. The bed was terrible and had an airline blanket and crappy sheets. The TV was from the early 1980's and there biggest brag is that there are 3 Showtime channels. The bathroom looks out of a Psychiatric ward... more
