Stayed here weekend of July 18th & 19th. My wife & I stayed in a cabin, while her brother and family were in trailers. The staff was freindly. Most important to us, was that the bathrooms were clean and they were. Plenty of hot water in shower, with a bench and plenty of hooks for hanging towels and clothes. The... More

We rented 4 cabins. We had about 20 people age 5 - 50 and everyone had a great time. We sang songs, cooked on the pit, swam in the pool. The campsite was extremely clean, the employees were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.

My husband was cursed at because we did not want to pay an extra $3.00 for our son to come. We were told we could have 4 persons to a site. It was just my husband and myself and my son was coming for one night on his day off. The staff is very rude and unpleasant. We have a... More

I have never been so upset or treated so poorly. The staff was extremely rude to my family many times. They banned us from setting up a tent.... on our camping trip...?? And then told us they don't want us back because we set the tent up....doesn't make sense to me! The rude staff used curse words towards us, luckily... More

We were very impressed by the professionalism at this campground. We stayed on site B6, which was a GREAT site, very large. The H sites were nice also. This campground is very quiet, clean and well maintained. The price was very reasonable for a full hookup at $38/night for a holiday weekend. The local state park was charging $35 per... More

This is the most unfriendly place I have seen yet. The staff will start yelling at you for the smallest reasons telling you that if you dont like it then leave. We did, but we had to threaten to call the ploice to get our money back.

Like most places in Utica, this place was just another overpriced tourist trap. But worst of all, basically a retirement village full of large RV's unwelcoming for families or at least anyone under the age of 50 with a tent. What was thought to be, a nice welcoming staff, turned into nosey old owners, super worried over they're little retirement... More

This is a very nice campground with an extremely friendly and helpful staff. Convenient to I-80 with spacious, pretty grounds. Sites are roomy, most are level, and some are concrete. Some sites are very secluded in the trees. Clean pool, playgrounds and common areas. Restrooms were clean. We had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay again. We stayed here... More

We have stayed at Hickory Hollow many times since they originally opened. They are usually able to accommodate us at the last minute which has been a lifesaver. The campground is clean and they are constantly making improvements and adding sites. The pool is clean, crowded and the water is pretty cold, but we enjoy it. The campground is right... More

we have been to Hickory several times over the last several years. Yes they have rules and those rules keep the trouble to a minimum. Nice and quite, clean and close to starved rock. It is close to several large towns and there is enough to do to keep you busy.
