We recently took a trip to these cabins with friends to catch up and relax. What a trip. The cabins were amazing. The cabin for 2 (ours was the Chippawa) was so spacious. We had 8 other people stop in while it rained and still had plenty of room. At first I thought OMG. what am I going to do for... More

Thank you so much for your kind words regarding us and our facility. Most of our guests have the same resistance against learning to wind down and relax. They don't realize how awesome it is and how much it is needed until they are forced to do it. That's what I love most about our cabin rentals. Until next time.... More

We stayed here this past weekend. My wife, kids and I stayed in one cabin and our friends and their two children stayed across the park in another cabin. It is a VERY peaceful setting - so much so that we were cautious about letting the kids run and romp. As someone else noted, there are lots of rules. They... More

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here at the end of July. We stayed in Jacks cabin and it was perfect. The balcony was perfect to watch sunsets, the kitchen had everything besides food, the living room was cozy, the bathroom had a whirlpool that was super relaxing, the bed was super comfortable and the fireplace was awesome. The... More

I had never been to this place before; wow, what a suprise! It was great! Lots to do being right on the river; it was peaceful and quiet. If you didn't feel like cooking, it was a short drive to town where there are lots of restraunt choices. And if you run out of things to do on-site, there are... More

Thank you Kishauwau Cabins and wonderful staff, you have a beautiful place. We stayed 2 nights mid week at Osage cabin where everything was beautiful and in excellent working order. The beautiful grounds, magnificent trees and grounds made it peaceful and serene. A great place to just sit back and relax. I especially love the hot tub and the bed... More

Where do we start? With the comfortable, tastefully decorated cabins? That the owners thought of, really, everything? The great view from each cabin? The out-of-the-way location that's surprisingly easy to get to? The reasonable rates? The relaxing peace and quiet? It's all top-notch. We traveled here with the Mother-in-law and she had her own boom and bath. As such it... More

Wife and I found this place online while trying to find a place close to Starved Rock State Park that is pet friendly. This place was the first search that popped up. Reviews online here looked good. Reservation was quick and simple. It is a small family run cabins that used to be a Boy Scout reservation. Each cabin is... More

Stayed in one of the larger whirlpool cabins with my 3 young daughters, and it was perfect! Cabin was extremely clean, there was a fully stocked kitchen, the towels and bedding were deluxe, and we loved the free movies in the office! Just a few minutes from Starved Rock and lots of cute little towns to explore. It would be... More

This is a peaceful place to stay to get away from it all. Cabins are well cared for, accommodations are comfortable. Weber grill on the back porch, great wooded view. Management seems to have thought of every thing. Highly recommended!!!!
