I go to the area several times per month for business. I used to stay at another local hotel, but found problems. I tried the Wingate and have not needed to look further. We stayed one night here to catch a concert at the local amptheater. I was a very nice stay and the front desk girls were great on getting us information on the best way to get there. more
We stayed in a suite on the third floor. The stains on the seats on the furniture were very disconcerting. It was a chilly night in late September so we turned on the heat. MISTAKE. The smell of burning dust was so strong we had to open all the windows. The wallpaper was peeling off the corners of the walls.... more
went to Wingate after a nitetime IndyCar race and didnt check in until after 11pm, the room was roomy and bed was as comfortable as any we have stayed in anywhere traveling. Good place to stay...I had no problems, was given a late checkout, the breakfast was good and had a lot of variety and lot of open space to sit...i got a great rate negotiated in person, so for me the value was good. My wife book a room for a womens spa party the hotel said that would be great after about 2 1/2hrs they kicked her out and said they do not do them things no refund. We are in process of suing the hotel and filed complaints with the BBB and Attorney Generals Office. more
Unfortunately, this guest was soliciting our valuable guests to visit her "Spa Party". She had placed flyers advertising her "Spa/Massage Party" on guests vehicles soliciting clients to attend. Nice hotel, indoor pool and hot tub, easy access to I-80. We got a great rate by calling the hotel directly. Very clean. Hot breakfast included with the room rate, making it an excellent value for a family. more

My boyfriend and I stayed in a suite which was nice. However I had four problems: The air conditioner is set and only stays on for a minute or so then shuts off. It does not come on until later on. This made it hard for me to sleep because I prefer the room to be cold. The next morning... more
