Excellent food, service and beers. Very friendly welcome and service, the food was superb and very reasonable. I had monkfish and prawn starter, calves liver and finished off with sticky toffee pudding, well done everyone 10 out of 10 :)

Not a vast menu, but something there to appeal to all palates. Service excellent. Not a cheap night out, but excellent food. The open fire was most welcoming, and not smoky, but I guess if you're not near the fire it could be a bit chilly.

Although a little chilly inside and not cheap, the food was excellent quality. I had the char grilled Mediterranean vegetables with Halloumi and salad which I really enjoyed. They were able to cater for gluten free customers and the service was excellent. We'll certainly consider a return trip.

My wife and I stayed at the New Inn one Saturday evening in October 2014 as we were visiting friends who have just moved into the area. We had the Rioja room. I can't fault the quality of the room or the pleasant setting. However, I would not recommend staying at this place based on our experiences. A combination of... More

We stayed here for one night on 4th October. The floor was dirty and the rug needed a vacuum. The bed was uncomfortable with awful pillows, the throw was filthy. The bathroom fan didn't work (and no window) and the lighting was dim because some bulbs were out. There were cracks in the walls. The breakfast was dreadful... when we... More

Arrived at this hotel which looks really attractive in a small hamlet. On appearance it looks really nice and on entering and being shown to the room, all looks really good. Went for our meal and that's when it all went down hill. I ordered a medium rare steak and it was inedible, so tough the steak knife refused to... More

I stayed in the Merlot room. It was big and clean and tidy it also had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. I ate in the evening and the food and the service was faultless! I would definitely go back to the The New Inn if passing again. Nothing was too much trouble and Dora even posted my phone... More

If something is on the menu it must be on the plate. Roast chicken lunch with bread sauce was lacking bread sauce. It arrived 20 mins late and was awful. Not good enough The NewInn. The waitress apologised but we should have been told they had run out of bread sauce when we ordered. The roast leg of lamb was... More
