Very welcoming staff on arrival and helpful with information. Excellent night's sleep. Food good both even meal and breakfast very good value. Recommend staying as very quiet area, not far from the M4.

One night business stay as working locally. I chose this Premier Inn as free parking whereas central Reading branch had no parking. The hotel did look tired, my room (33) had very small bathroom, although clean, the window with net made it feel cold and grim. I wasnt a fan of this room. Bed was comfy as they always are.... More

We were looking for somewhere to stay the night before a family wedding we found our rooms clean, warm, spacious, comfortable and quiet. What more could you ask for? The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Not knowing the area I was expecting an urban setting from the address but the lovely rural setting was a lovely surprise.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my wife and we had a lovely time. The staff were the most friendly we have ever had in any hotel regardless of the star rating and could not do enough for us, especially Judith. It was a real breath of fresh air to say the least. The hotel is a little out... More

Stayed here for one night on business, and It did the job .... Was a bed for the night but wouldn't fancy staying any longer. Don't get me wrong there wasn't anything wrong with hotel but it's not one of the nicer premier inns - requires work and refurbing! The room was fairly big, had all you could need -... More

Tired looking hotel in an out-of-town location with good size car park. High on service but low on comfort. Wifi speed is not acceptable - it is so slow that is not fit for purpose. The whole place needs updating and for £120 per person per night it is very poor value. To be avoided.

Once again I can only give and excellent review for this Premier Inn at Reading South. The staff again were very welcoming and friendly asking how you slept or how your meal was. The room was clean and fresh and the food in the affiliated pub next door was excellent with breakfast being cooked to order so was hot and... More

This is a pretty tired looking PI - in need of a refresh. Not been to chain hotel for ages that uses REAL keys?! Very standard PI rooms, decent size for a couple but when they are extended for a family it is a real squeeze (as our family found out). Heard the toilet flushing in the room next door... More

I stopped here recently with 2 colleagues and were very happy with this hotel! The lady on reception was friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and clean. Good sized safe carpet and an EXCELLENT restaurant on the others side of the car park. Not the cheapest place I've stayed but good value for money!

Firstly the staff were really nice and they have the latest Hypnos beds. That's it for the positive! On arrival I was told "the wifi is free here sir" I replied "does that mean it's crap?" " we are at the end of the line here so it's very patchy". And it was, along with the almost non existent phone... More
