We enjoyed our 4-night stay at the Doubletree. The staff was nice and helpful, the room was modernly appointed and clean and we loved the location. Although the hotel room was fine, the food ok (though one of our party was up all night with mild food poisoning), the reception staff were rude and very unsympathetic.

I stayed at this Doubletree in Skokie for 4 nights for a conference in Wilmette. The staff were wonderfully accommodating and helpful and truly friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean. We recently had family from out of town and stayed just outside of Chicago for the weekend. We booked this on Priceline and got a great price. My only disappointment was that I thought breakfast came with it, it didn't and if you wanted a continental breakfast that they had out, you had to pay for it? Really Doubletree...can't afford... The staff was very helpful getting cabs and with extra towels and such. They had a fraternity party at the hotel at the same time and made a point of segregating families from the noise. The room was good. The hotel was well located for our purposes near the airport, the interstate and Northwestern.

It was a welcoming stay at the doubletree in Skokie. We loved the warm cookies upon check in and check out but this was to be expected from Doubletree. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from a worth-while outdoor shopping center, the cheesecake factory and a panera bread. We must have went to that panera bread every morning... More
