We rented cabins and they were just so,so. Well worn and VERY expensive. The lake is supposed to be stocked. Many people fished it but I never saw a fish caught. Close to town for convenience. A very nice motel with a free breakfast is cheaper than this place.

A great escape from the big city. We were immediately impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the two bedroom cabin. The cabin front catch and release fishing was excellent. This along with a B-B-Q grill and fire pit made for a great relaxing stay. Recommend.

My friend and I took her two children here for a fun few days away before school started this year. It was the perfect get-away for a few days. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and we were blessed with great neighbors in the cabin next door. The kids loved trying to learn to fish in the catch... More

I will recommend this rv park and resort to anybody, beautiful and very clean well kept park. We were needing a place to park our camper for a couple weeks while husband worked. Called and talked to a lady named Tammy and she was the best at helping us find a place. She went way far and beyond in helping us.... More

I stayed at one of the cabins a couple weeks ago and was not too thrilled. I have stayed at other cabins in the area that are much bigger, nicer, and cheaper in price. The shower was an absolute joke, and the place was very small. They do not offer towels which I was laughing about. They say full kitchen,... More

We camp a lot. We camp all over Illinois and Indiana and have never had an owner and staff be so rude. The absolute worst part is that there is evidently a blood hound kennel on or next to the grounds and the hounds(sounded like 50 or more) wailed all night and we didn't get any sleep. When I brought... More

What a phenomenal campground! The cleanest we've EVER been to. And the bath house is spotless. We'll definitely be back. KUDOS to everyone at Robin Hood Woods! Everyone here is do friendly and helpful. There's a great catch and release pond for the family to enjoy. The playground has really neat things for the kids and the pool is AMAZING!... More

We have been coming to RHW Memorial day weekend for a lot of years. The owners, staff and the facilities are always just what we need to have a great time. Do yourself a favor and rent a golf cart. it makes it much easier to cart the kids around to the pool to the pond and down the trail... More

My husband and I came up to visit family in the Mattoon -Charleston area. We chose to rent a cabin instead of getting a hotel. Very clean, easily accessible, and plenty of stuff for the kids to do. There were several ants in the cabin but given that you're in the middle of a wooded area it's hard to complain.... More

Nice park to camp in. My parents had a site here for a few years while they were working in the area. My daughter & I loved going to visit them during the summer at Robinhood Woods . The cabins are clean, well kept, cozy, and have cable/satellite. The sites are nice but somewhat close together, very clean, nice pool,... More
