Traveled to Savoy yesterday from deep southern Illinois for granddaughters piano recitals and a 5th grade promotion to middle school. Only had a one night stay but would have loved to stay a month. The Mansion is beautiful. Stained glass windows, attention to authentic detail, just magnificent. My room had a king sized bed, double jacuzzi, wonderful touches everywhere. Got... More

I recently had a hard fall, hitting my head on the ice. Needing some rest and alone time with God, I was lead to The Senator's Inn !!! What a blessing and restoratively quiet mansion!!! Being a National Trust Society member, I felt like I was transported back to 1918 when this grand mansion was first built. The owner, Sheri... More

I stayed here for one night. This inn is pretty good and beautiful. The room is big and the host is nice. Savory is a very small and quiet town which makes me enjoy the sound when the train passing by. This is not a problem at all.

This people is out of this world. I had never being treated so kind in no other hotel I had been in my life. Is very economic if you need a place for an extended stay. A very antique place, looks much like a museum; as a matter of fact It have some history; it belonged to a senator. I... More

We stayed three nights (Apr into May) and loved it. Our daughter ran in the 3rd Annual Illinois Marathon, which is what brought us to the area, from Dallas. We generally prefer to stay in B&B and this one was very nice. Very handy to Urbana/Champaign. Yes... the Canadian National runs up and down the tracks right across the highway,... More

This is a nice place and reasonably priced. Unfortunately it is located right next to the train tracks. I never knew so many trains ran through Champaign-Urbana. But I do now, they come through at 10:30 p.m., 11:00 p.m., 2:00 a.m. and around 6:30 am. and 6:45 a.m. and the blare the horn every time. You cannot get a decent... More

We stayed overnight after a U of I football game. The location makes it easy to get to and from the campus. Also several dining options in the area. Our room was very clean. Breakfast is continental style. Room rates are extremly reasonable.
