Before booking this hotel, I read reviews. Since many of the noted problems were fixable, I assumed that the management had addressed them by now. Wrong. Because our son was staying in our room for the 2 nights, I really wanted a room with 2 Queens and a hotel closer to the car rental area, since we had to return... more

The hotel is just by the airport. Getting into Chicago from the hotal is difficult. You can take the metro which is about 15 mins walk from the hotel and then 45 mins. Alternatively, you can take a cab which can take the same amount of time and cost $50=$60. If you are planning to visit Chicago then don't stay... more

I'm a big fan of the Starwaood brand of properties and had a reservation to stay at the Westin for this trip and I have stayed there in the past. A friend recommended this hotel and the rate was significantly lower than the Westin, so I decided to try it. The good - Cheap!, The hotel is brand new and... more

This hotel is the BOMB!!! They're about 2 yrs old and in a quiet place right outside of Chicago. A friend and I drove from Washington, DC to Chicago for the 4th of July weekend and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Aloft hotel. We were greeted with their signature scent and the aesthetics were absolute eye candy.... more

I enjoyed my stay, but the rooms were very small. Would recommend if you are just flying through. more

After having an awesome stay at the aloft PDX, we checked into the aloft ORD as we had an early morning flight out of ORD and we wanted a nice relaxing night. Upon our arrival, our driver had a problem finding the entrance to the hotel (there is still a bit of construction around the area) and we went "off... more

I stayed here for two nights while attending a meeting being held at one of the numerous neighboring hotels since the block was full at the other hotel and this seemed to be the best value. The hotel is stylishly (if not sparsely) appointed. The shuttle from O'Hare leaves every 30 minutes and is convenient, similar to most other hotels... more

Atmosphere/Room: 9 This place has plenty to do. When you arrive in the lobby, you'll hear up-tempo music playing from the multiple Bose speakers throughout the common area. On the far right is a pool table and two computers for internet use. Acrss from that is the Wxyz Bar which opens at 5 PM every evening. I enjoyed my Amaretto... more

This is a really nice hotel. Easy check-in using a kiosk. The decor is very modern and hip - not at all like other hotels. To park in the garage is $20 (which I thought was ridiculous), but for your entire stay. You just have to get your ticket validated by the front desk every time you get a new... more

I had stayed here with my spouse in AUG 2009. for a three day weekend. First, let me say that it was way colder in Chicago than I thought it would be. I brought two pairs of shorts and never wore them once. We stayed here using Starpoints after comparing Aloft O'Hare with comparable Starwood properties downtown such as W,... more
