I will have to give credit that the rooms were nice and clean, and roomy. BUT, the people are rude and food service is awful (food not bad). This Staybridge Suites (a Holiday Inn/Intercontinental Hotels brand) has been open less than a year and is one of the newer hotels in Rockford. Not knowing much about the brand I did a lot of on-line research. I selected this hotel as they offered a two-bedroom suite, the floorplan of which indicated it would be perfect for my traveling party.... more

We stayed here in March 2009, the hotel is new. Pool was not complete yet so they let you swim at the Holiday Inn next door. Holiday Inn was not very nice. Staybridge was nice.
