If I could rate a zero I would. I'd had booked two campsites next to each other, at a specific location in the campground. I called in April to reserve these two locations. I had to pay one nights deposit for each, so $60 at the time. My friend had booked sites there as well, as we were all going... More

We camped here for 3 nights. Very, very clean campground. Camp hosts were really friendly. There was a dog parade while we were there which is adorable. There is a playground for the kids. A lot of seasonal campsites which are kept up really nice. The only downfall is that there is no pool. I think a pool would be... More

Stayed for Memorial Day weekend, eight families with travel trailers or motorhome. Just a little trouble with trees for one trailer. Nice wide sites, water & electric. Huge open space in middle of campground for recreation. Kishwaukee River in back of camper, would like to kayak that. Gnats were a bit of a nuisance. Not hard to find, with things... More

Don't be afraid to go a little out of your way to find this little piece of paradise. It is calm and restful, just what you need after traveling or a hard week of working your butt off at work. Oh what a relief to kick back by a campfire with peace and quiet of a calm river in the... More

For us this was great. Sure, off main interstates, but we stayed several days to hook up with others also from out of state for a reunion in the area. Spacious, comfortable, clean, could use updated shower/bath. Also didn't like a charge for extra daytime visitors. Internet pretty weak. would stay again if in the area.

We arrived late and had to move the fire ring because the way things were set up we couldn't make a fire to cook our dinner and enjoy the fire with our party. The owner informed us two days later that it was a $25 charge for moving it. There was no hot water in the showers.

The campground was very clean and well cared for. The bathrooms were very small but clean. The pavilions were useful when it stormed. There was a nice open space for activities. The only drawback was that the rules were a little tight for our group.

We overnighted here enroute to Oshkosh. We called ahead and Sue had our paperwork taped to the door as we arrived slightly after they closed due to some nasty traffic. It had a shower and restroom and they were in decent condition for 2200 by the time we got settled in had a fire and a few drinks. Dump station... More

Too far off path. Beautiful with space and trees. For overnighters too many rules, can't use our washer/dryer in RV, bad satalite reception, phone didn't work and if you have visitors you pay $2.00 per person per day. Expensive at $29.00 for water/electric only, sewer available but not on individual campground site Most of campground is used for year- around... More

We spent a night at this large campground which has many seasonal and monthly sites in addition to about 40 transient sites. WIFI is free but some of the sites are too far to get a useable signal. There are two very large open areas with pavilions, a tent area, playground, mini-golf, shuffleboard and other activities. The Kishwaukee River runs... More
