My husband and I stayed here on our way to Florida. Front lobby was beautiful. Check in was fast and friendly. They will place a deposit on your card but it does get taken off. We booked a king bed room. The bed and pillows were super comfortable! I had forgot my pillows in the car, but I didn't even go back for them because it was all so comfy! Heater worked great. A little chilly when we got in (super common) and we bumped it up and was warmed up in no time. Here's some things that didn't bug me, but just letting you know.... Pool was out of order (didn't care bc we just came to sleep and get on the road in a.m.) Sure the doors have chips and walls in bathroom have a little paint peeling. Toilet paper was super thin. Towels were just right! Not scratchy/thin, not overly plush....they were like what normal towel is Did any of that affect my stay? Absolutely not. Only thing that I can say that actually bothered me a little was the breakfast. Hubby went down for coffee while I finished getting packed up. I went down and they had usual assortment. Waffle machine, eggs, biscuits/gravy, fruit, Danish, cereals, yogurt etc....I got some scrambled eggs, danish and oj. Was going to grab a yogurt cup, but when I picked it up it seemed liquidy, I checked exp date and they had all expired 2 weeks ago. So I decided against a hb egg just to be safe The scrambled eggs were cold. Like just came out fridge cold. Danish was stale. Passed on fruit bc all the apples were damaged. I can deal with a less than par breakfast, but we went down at 615 and they opened at 6. But you can see Walmart just down the road so when we left, we stopped there for some breakfast items. The breakfast was really the only downfall. I would def come back and just make a diff plan for breakfast.

Room Tip: Walmart is only 1/2 mile down road. You can see it from parking lot. Super easy to get to off I-39

We decided to check out this hotel since the hotel we were staying at had deplorable rooms. We walked in checked the front desk and talked to Amber. She showed several rooms and gave us a choice. The whole staff was very nice helped us with whatever we needed. I'll be back when in town.

We decided to book this hotel as a stopping point on our vacation. Definitely a nice location as it is outside the hustle and bustle of the Chicago metropolitan area. The breakfast had enough options and they do have a pancake maker which is always a plus. The beds are very firm. The exercise room wasn’t the best according to my girlfriend. But all in all a good experience and would stay here again.

Reserved two rooms for two nights, but the hotel.com website glitched during the PayPal process, and I didn’t receive a confirmation. Thinking I didn’t get the reservation, I booked another place to stay. The following day, the charge processed, and because they have a no refund or transfer policy, they kept my $355.16. Despite many attempts to explain the situation and come to a compromise, the very rude owner refused and kept the money. My advice, STAY ANYWHERE ELSE.

The owners definitely spent all if their money on the common areas. The rooms were in poor condition and smelled like mothballs. There was no hot water, only lukewarm. Breakfast looked awful, so we ate elsewhere. The parking lot was a sheet of ice. Overall, couldn't wait to leave. Very poor stay.

This hotel was the basic definition of okay- the rooms are not remodeled, no matter what anyone tells you - there is paint peeling and the shower looks like a murder shower. The bathroom was gross. The towels are REPULSIVE - thin and grey almost (they should be white). I was slightly concerned about bedbugs but no issues. The bed is okay, the room was generally quiet. I would not stay here again. The motel 8 next door is way cleaner, even though its a motel 8, but they don't allow dogs, which is why I was stuck in the Quality Inn. For the money, it should be like $40/night, not $80. The breakfast was not good.

A group of us, 5 families total, 10 adults and 10 kids booked our room early October for our stay November 3rd through 4th. We booked our trip due to a cheer competition that our girls were having in Decalb. This hotel was one of the closest and the biggest reason for booking was that they had a swimming pool. Our children were all looking froward to this trip. We arrive on the 3rd to check in only to fine out from the 3 employees working the desk, 1 of them being the supposed manager, that 2 of the 5 rooms were cancelled on October 21st by someone at their establishment. Not much concern or care in regards to their error. They went back and forth making up stories first saying it was someone in their establishment that cancelled then changing their story to they don't know who cancelled. After complaining for a good hour and going back and forth, they tell us they have only 2 king rooms available and we said we would take them. All of the other hotel rooms around were booked up due to cheer competitions and a large football playoff game. They told us we were getting those rooms, and the kids could change into their suits while we were getting all of this situated. Then literally after waiting another hour, they tell us the rooms were no longer available!! Reason being, the shady Arab man and women behind the desk realized we were not going to pay extra for a king size bed. This was not our mistake, we did not cancel, and it was not our fault they no longer had 2 queen size beds which is what we reserved so they needed to make this right and give us what they had available. They wanted to charge an extra $120 something dollars for a king bed!! We asked to speak to the owner and manager and they said they would get him on phone but after hiding in the back to construe another story and lie, came back about 10/15 minutes later stating he was in India. With kids crying and no concern by these three employees, they then said they did not have any rooms any longer and the kids could not swim here because all of us were not staying!! They were trying to make an extra couple hundred bucks of of us for their mistake!! They cancelled the rooms, not us!! Terrible, Terrible establishment!! I would not advise anyone to stay at this facility!! Lying and very shady staff!! They would not refund the money for the 2 rooms that 2 of the families still had there, one room had a broken toilet that did not work at all!!! Dirty rooms, hair on beds, didn't look like carpets were even vacuumed, and broken microwave!! So gross and even worse the staff!!! Do not waste your time with these people. Untrustworthy individuals. We ended up getting rooms at the Super 8 next door. and to our surprise, it was clean, very comfortable beds and pillows, no pool but the staff was beyond accommodating and friendly!! Breakfast was great too!! Quality Inn in Rochelle, you are beyond terrible!!

Spent some time at the Rochelle Railroad Park and opted to overnight in Rochelle. Have used Quality Inn's before and this one was similar to others. Quick check in. Room clean and area quiet. Breakfast was good with a couple of exceptions. The right hand side of the warming tray for the sausage and scrambled eggs did not work very well. The eggs in the right side tray were cold. Syrup container was low and had to tip unit to get syrup out of container.
