I will begin by saying that I was here for work during the Tin Dusters car show, and so there was absolutely no rooms left anywhere so I was forced to stay here for a week. My experience is based on the fact that we were forced to take smoking rooms downstairs because all the rooms were booked (across the... More

My fiance and I blocked some rooms here for our wedding guests. Before we made welcome packages for our guests we asked the hotel if they would pass them out to the wedding guests as they checked in and we were told that it was not a problem. We later found out that a few of our guests were overcharged... More

We booked this hotel for a one night stay mostly due to the low price and free breakfast, but really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is being remodeled and the decor is unique to say the least. We definitely enjoy that type of thing instead of boring run of the mill kind of places. The lady at the desk was... More

This is an older building, but the interior has been been remodeled over the past 14 months. The rooms are spotless and well laid out. Each room is unique and the hallways of this large 118 room hotel are all decorated with wonderful paintings and antiques, giving it a very homey feel. The large pool was wonderful, the water CLEAN... More

This Hotel used to be a Americas Best Hotel so you know they have had to do a lot of renovation! The Halls are all themed and the rooms that are done are Great! With all my travels I have never been in a hotel quite like this! Yes I did have a room that was not quite done yet... More

Every year we try a new place; This was to be our 32 nd Anniversary get away; but turned out to be the WORST hotel we have ever had the pleasure of staying in... Our room had a HARD bed,old carpet from the 80's, and the bar area was closed. Breakfast ran out an hour "BEFORE" they closed and we were... More

We discovered that our queen size bed was actually sitting on top of a a double bed size box spring. When booking we had requested a queen size bed, I guess we should have also requested that it be on a queen size box spring? The furnishings in the hallways were antique looking and some were really neat, but you... More

We enjoyed a 2 night stay in this nicely renovated hotel. The people and staff were wonderful! The decorating of the hotel was awesome. Clean and comfortable room! Everything worked and there was nothing here you didn't need. The hotel is a little dated, the pool area is nothing fancy (but clean) and the beds were just perfect. You never... More

We had a great stay here over the weekend. Room was on the 2nd floor, which the elevator doesn't go to, but it was only a couple stairs up so not a problem at all. Our hall was decorated with a lake/outdoor/fishing theme... it was a very nice change from your typical, boring hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful... More

I've come here twice in the renovated rooms and it was great both times. No two rooms are the same, which gives it a nice touch. No boring, standard rooms here! The reasonable price doesn't hurt either. It looks like the whole hotel is on it's way to a great renovation. I will be staying here now on.
