These fares are in a great location with a beautiful sunset view each day. They are quite dated, with fibro sheeting throughout. As previously mentioned, no fly screens, no air conditioning. We stayed 3 nights and didn't realise that they don't provide much. No soap, limited toilet paper, old scratchy towels, no tea/ coffee sachets. No problem if you're from... More

Really loved my 2 night stay here, wish it would have been 4 or 5 nights. Celine was very helpful. She not only got us dinner one night, and delivered it to our bungalow, but she also brought us fresh bread in the morning. (for a price of course) And she was very helpful the day we left, she arranged... More

We loved our 5 nights here. The beach was just at our door, and we had sunset views across the lagoon every night. The bungalows are quite elderly, but have comfortable beds, are clean and the kitchens are basic, but with all you need. They are not serviced during your stay, but we were ok with this. The decor is... More

We stayed at the Moorea Fare Miti for 3 nights before boarding a cruise around the Tahitian islands (Princess). If you are wondering whether or not to make the trek to Moorea (instead of staying near Papeete) DO IT!!! This was the most relaxing place we have ever been to, a real slice of paradise! It is not the Hilton... More

Fare Miti is truly a gem. I read through the previous posts and decided this was the best spot for our honeymoon stay on Moorea! We booked our 3 island trip with a local tourism company that did not include Fare Miti, but we insisted on staying there. We stayed 4 nights, 5 days. We were able to see the... More

I really liked this place. Sometimes when we rent a villa or bungalow on the beach, we feel like our small children are shattering the peace and quiet that some people who frequent these places are looking for. At this place, there were a lot of families with small children, so if you do not like that, you may not... More

10 days very close to paradise! We had a spacious and cozy decorated bungalow with fantastic seaview in a lush garden. The french owners keeping the beach clean and leave free. All the beachchairs are in place and the bungalows are clean and in excellent condition. What a life! Because of the bread-service from Celine we had every morning fresh... More

We stayed for 3 nights in April 2011 and paid extra to stay in the one beach front bure. There is a large tree that obscures about 50% of the view. The beach is very narrow and as this tree provides the only nearby shade, lots of people come to sit directly in front of this bungalow. This is okay... More

My husband and I returned home last night from a repeat visit of one month at Moorea Fare Miti. We were there at the same time as the prior reviewer – in fact, they stayed in the bungalow directly behind us for three nights before they left on a cruise – so I feel very well qualified to respond to... The good: Right on the beach. Owners are very nice. Good restaurants nearby. WIFI cheap The bad: No screens on windows. No air conditioning(hot & humid). Curtains that don't close all the way. Bed is hard! Morning, noon and night mosquitos in the grass. You will get woken up every day by the roosters. You can't drink the water. You... More
