This is truly ideal place to spend your long vacation whatever you like and whoever you are. You can find here an intimate atmosphere, possibilities for active pastime and discovering of the island. It is possible to cook by yourself, order some food or visit any of excellent restaurants which are situated around. To have a transport is preferable, but... More

Your passport to paradise lies just beyond the touristy hustle and bustle of Cook's and Oponohu Bays. Your friendly and attentive hosts are Celine & Laurent. Owners since 2009, they have nicely renovated the huts, and immaculately tend the gardens so that every hut is surrounded by verdant hedges and tropical fragrances. Moorea Fare Miti is on a beautiful sandy... More

It has been several years since I stayed in this resort, but it was one of my most enjoyable trips ever. My daughter and I shared a "thatched hut" on the beach. We had access to a boat, bicycles, (we brought our own snorkeling gear), and it was close to town and restaurants. I highly recommend a mini-car ride around... More

This was a nice place to stay in Moorea. You need a car to access this bed and breakfeast. Easy beach access and view from each bungaloo to the lagoon. Need some long chairs on the beach and soap in the bathroom, Better products to keep the mosquitoes away. More pilows in the bedroom and a oven in the kitchen.... More

This was our first visit to this smaller property which is located on the northwestern portion of Moorea, just a little south of the Le Petit shopping area.  Wonderful sunsets and island breezes - refreshing. We stayed in the beachfront fare (bungalow) with the terrace facing directly to the ocean...very nice and well worth the additional cost.  It's right on... More

I have written multiple reviews of Fare Miti, which we visit several times a year, and I can't stop raving about this place! We just returned from a two month trip to French Polynesia and again stayed in our favorite bungalow on the lovely beach at this very special pension. Celine and Laurent, the proprietors, continue to improve and renovate... More

These fares are in a great location with a beautiful sunset view each day. They are quite dated, with fibro sheeting throughout. As previously mentioned, no fly screens, no air conditioning. We stayed 3 nights and didn't realise that they don't provide much. No soap, limited toilet paper, old scratchy towels, no tea/ coffee sachets. No problem if you're from... More

Really loved my 2 night stay here, wish it would have been 4 or 5 nights. Celine was very helpful. She not only got us dinner one night, and delivered it to our bungalow, but she also brought us fresh bread in the morning. (for a price of course) And she was very helpful the day we left, she arranged... More

We loved our 5 nights here. The beach was just at our door, and we had sunset views across the lagoon every night. The bungalows are quite elderly, but have comfortable beds, are clean and the kitchens are basic, but with all you need. They are not serviced during your stay, but we were ok with this. The decor is... More

We stayed at the Moorea Fare Miti for 3 nights before boarding a cruise around the Tahitian islands (Princess). If you are wondering whether or not to make the trek to Moorea (instead of staying near Papeete) DO IT!!! This was the most relaxing place we have ever been to, a real slice of paradise! It is not the Hilton... More
