My wife and I were on our way to visit out daughter and her husband. We were able to take our time because they had to work. I had found Three Roses online. We were delighted with the room, and with Sharon. We had the place to ourselves. Jennifers room, in the back, was very quiet. Breakfast on the porch... More

This is the place to stay if you're in Pontiac/ central Illinois for a few days. We stayed during a family funeral and the location and accommodations were perfect for us. The bedroom is comfy (Marcia's room, front of the house next to the main street, but there is so little noise on that street it's not a problem), had... More

We were in Pontiac for a night to celebrate a good friend's 30th birthday and we decided to google bed and breakfast joints rather than staying at your typical interstate hotel... What a find! The home is only blocks from the historic downtown square which has cool shops and a great cafe called Lidia's Cup. The B&B itself is what... More

My wife and I were making a motorcycle trip down Route 66 from Chicago to SW Missouri. We had no plans laid out for the journey so we looked up places to stay as daylight faded each night. Risky, yes. Fun, most definitely. And we will do it again from MO to Cali! We dropped into Pontiac, IL around 10pm... More

Thanks for the nice review. Actually, we don't book more than two couples at a time so guests don't have to share bathrooms. So even if we'd had another couple here, you would not have shared a bathroom. The only time that bathrooms are shared is if we have a group or family that doesn't mind sharing a bath, but... More

We started our Route 66 with 2 nights at the Three Roses and couldn’t have chosen a better place. We were in Jennifer’s room which is just delightful and at the back of the house so you get that little bit of extra peace & quiet although I have to say the main road is not that busy so there... Thank you for the lovely review! Mitzi would be pleased to hear that she was the star of the show if she could just understand what her mama is saying to her. She enjoys all of our guests. First dog I've ever had that loves everyone she meets. I hope you will be able to return again some day. More

We visited Pontiac for a car show. The proprietor allowed us to use the garage as we were driving a classic car. The hospitality was great. Sharon is a wonderful cookmwhomprepared the food exactly as we spoke about. The room was lovely and very comfortable. It was a very nice stay.

My brother and I had the privilege to stay (one night only regretfully) at Three Roses B&B. Owner Sharon Hansen is the kind of host which everybody desires for. She's a great cook, so expect a good breakfast! The room was nice, great beds, very nice bathroom! Like I said, we wish we could've stayed a little longer. Thank you... More

Thank you for the wonderful review! It is so nice to get feedback! An innkeepers job is pretty tough and we work so hard to please our guests and then we find out how much they appreciated our hard work, THAT makes it all worthwhile. I like most of my guests so much, I never want them to leave, but... More

A wonderful experience all around. We enjoyed a very special and customized birthday dinner (complete with homemade lemon/vanilla cake that was to die for), brunch was delicious (don't miss the eggs benedict!) and the beds were the best I've experienced in a long time. Highly recommended.

I could go on about the comfortable accommodations, the combination of friendliness and privacy, and the beauty of the surrounding town, but here is what really matters: the breakfast was excellent--especially the fresh orange juice, the cinnamon rolls, and the eggs. Stay here.

Wife and I visited Pontiac, IL to meet with friends and explore the history of the area and the town specifically. We stayed at Three Roses two nights, Friday and Saturday. We had off street parking and a wonderfully quiet stay. Sharon's cooking was excellent and the accommodations were very neat and clean. Our location just a block from the... More

The room facing the street does have the most street noise. It is generally quiet at night but for guests like me that need total quiet to sleep, we provide free ear plugs just in case. I don't believe anyone has ever had a problem sleeping in this room. Marcia's Room is the only room that faces the street. Many... More
