I like independent hotels, this one seemed like it would be quaint and fun. Its like an older style motor court. But I agree with the reviewer Carol50733 - my room had carpet stains, the other icky parts just the same. I used my own blankets & sprayed everything with Lysol. Disappointing, really disappointing.

We came to the Tahoe Motel to get a quick night's rest before continuing our road trip home. The staff was very friendly! Rooms VERY clean, and bed comfortable. Our stay was very affordable, since we really only wanted to room for a few hours to sleep and shower. The only below average part of the hotel is that the... More

I'm a senior woman traveling solo. I stayed here on 10-20-13. The desk clerk had to look at 3 different rooms for me before finding one with a safety device on the door. Total cost for my room was $44.80. This older motel appeared to be clean on 1st impression, and I will say that the furniture, mirrors, bathroom floor, toilet... More

The perfect place for a traveller to rest their weary head. This vintage motel is super clean, economic and quiet. It's great for an adult or two. My husband and I plan our road-trips to include staying here. They're pet-friendly and there are a few diners you can walk across the street to. Gas station/mini mart and right off the... More

My husband hit a deer in the interstate, and when we stopped for a bite to eat the undershield on the car fell down. Part of it fell off at the restaurant and the rest was dragging. The hostess at the restaurant recommended A garage and the Tahoe Motel. It was the evening of July 3rd and the garage owner... More

This is an old, small, roadside motel. We stopped here for the night a couple of hours from our destination. It was close to midnight when we stopped. They had only one room left and it was a smoking room. I asked to see the room before we checked in and couldn't detect any smoking smells so we stayed for... More
