This motel represents good value for money, The rooms are large and clean with a generous hospitality tray. Breakfast was traditional but nicely cooked and served. The motel is clean but very dated - rather like a trip back to the 70s or earlier with brown sheets and artex walls in the dining room and bars, but then do we... More

Stayed here for three nights as the usual place we stayed was fully booked. First impressions were not great the motel was dated, when built it might have been surrounded by green fields however it is now surrounded by a housing estate. Reception had signs directing us upstairs to the main bar to check in, this was completed quickly with... More

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is clean apart from a stain above the toilet and bath, plenty of hot water for a shower. The bed and sheets were clean, carpet has seen plenty of traffic, coffee and tea making facilities, no decaf though. TV was enormous. Breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly. Overall good value for... More

This Motel for a cheap overnight stay is OK however with a few improvements it could be loads better. Firstly I would recommend the owners watch the hotel inspector on the web and learn from what others have as you like so many motels and hotel try to do it on the cheap and if only a bit more care... A very warm welcome was given on our arrival, the rooms were clean and roomy, the food in the bar was very nice and reasonably priced. Our shower was a little below par the water was not very powerful, although others in our party had no problems. On reflection a great place to stay breakfast and staff exceptional. Tariff is... My wife and myself stayed here for two nights so that we could go and watch Wales vs Scotland (6 Nations). Nice clean spacious room, excellent breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely consider booking here again for next years rugby fixtures.

Stated here last year for work as the Ballas Farm Guest House was full. It was okay for a couple if nights. Room smelt slightly, however it was that week it was particularly hit last summer, above 30° some days. Food in the pub was fairly average however. All in all, not bad.

I was away on my own and needed a stopover so didn't want to pay the earth. This place was fine. Not somewhere I would rave about but it served its purpose. The room was clean and comfortable and the food was fine. Nothing more but nothing less than you would expect for the price. I would certainly use it... More
