We went to Flamingo Bay Lodge for lunch only to find that all the accommodation except for one chalet had burnt down. Although the reception and bar area were still operating the service was shocking. Even though there was only 1 other group of around 12 people we were still waiting for our drinks order 45 minutes after ordering. We... More

We had our honeymoon at this amazing lodge and would recommend it to anyone who wants the most romantic holiday possible. The resort is amazing the food spectacular and the staff super friendly. The road to the lodge is quiet interesting but the lodge has a shuttle and would be the best way to get there. We will return again

It was the trip of a lifetime! We spent 5 days at Flamingo Bay and spent all 5 of those days in absolute awe. It is in the most magical setting and to see nature at work with such powerful force is awe-inspiring. We spent hours each day watching the tide fill up around us and then drift out again.... More

The location of the lodge is stunning,as it's located in a mangrove which is affected by the different tides of the ocean,it was a breathtaking experience .the food at the restaurant was also very delicious and flavorful,we had a buffet on one night, which was much better than the ala carte menu which had tiny portions, the chef was however willing to... Good location and fantastic views. The menu is not that varied but still offers a good choice. Made a good attempt to make us feel welcomed and relaxed. Good effort to integrate local community in the evening entertainment.

This place is perfectly located, with its beautiful scenery and amazing sunset. The serve delicious food. The staff here is no more than fantastic, they are very friendly and extremely helpful. A special thanks to Augusto, Sarmento and Zacarias for making our stay extraordinary.

That is where is stops. The service is shocking. Communication with the employees is tough. There is not personal warm and fuzzy feel to the hotel. Menu lacked verity. I will go back to others places in Moz like White Pearl; but not to a hotel that think they are doing me a favor.

This may well have been quite a nice resort but it is let down by an obvious lack of investment in maintenance, poor service, bad food and its location on a marsh. I foolishly relied on the website and wrongly assumed the amount I paid meant it was a top quality hotel. It is not! This was my only truly... More

Flamingo Bay must have been a wonderful place back in the day but it is old and tired and is certainly not worth the amount they are asking per night. The pictures on the website are a bit misleading! The location and the views are magnificent, the staff are lovely trying their best to please and make up for all... More

We were staying in Tofo and visited Flamingo Bay only for dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. Conrad the hotel manager was extremely helpful and friendly and convinced us to have the four course table d'hôte instead of the à la carte. Just as well. All the food was excellent, and the mains of langoustines could not be improved on.... More
