The hotel staff always make my stay in Ottawa better than the reason for my trip which is always work. I look forward to visiting the Ottawa area and staying at Hampton. It is within walking distance to many national chain restaurants and very easy to find on and off the highway.

Got the last available room without a reservation which was appreciated although it was a smoking handicap room. Would have been difficult for a real handicap person since the shower hose squirted all over the bathroom and the floor was very slippery. Suggest that smoking be banned in all rooms.

Hampton's seem to come in a couple of "grades" and this is one of the better ones. It is also located very nicely for a freeway interchange hotel: it's far enough off I-80 and also the main highway to keep it very quiet and away from the interchange bustle.
