After driving blind through pouring rain we arrived in hot sunshine at this gorgeous inn, where we were warmly welcomed by Kenneth, the owner. He and his wife Chris are so hospitable – helpful, generous, informative and yet unobtrusive. On arrival Kenneth told us there were 2 options for breakfast – either to have the full gourmet breakfast presented at... More

Peaceful comfort awaits you in this B&B in Oregon, IL. Chris and Ken welcome you and provide anything you should need. Can't say enough good thing about the Somerset Room. I've never experienced a room so calming and warm. This historic home will restore your soul! If in the area, a must visit.

Quality property and experience throughout... wonderfully kept grounds, clean and great hospitality. The innkeepers make their job(s) look easy, but as a guest it is readily apparent what hard work and effort go into the Pinehill Inn to keep it immaculate. I enjoyed my pancake breakfast & will return!

Pristinely decorated and maintained. It is a perfectly restored home on the national register of historic places. Ask about the red stained glass window and it's story: do you see things through rose colored glasses? We stayed in Captian's Quarters on the first floor. We highly recommend that room. The porches were so relaxing! The continental breakfast was great! We... More

Pinehill partcipated in our 2015 Ladies Day Out Experience by hosting a traditional English Afternoon Tea for about 20 of our guests. Our guests raved about the food, the property and the atmosphere of this lovely historic mansion. A few of them even booked follow-up events before they left for the day. Thank you Chris and Ken for your participation,... More

This 1874 brick mansion is beautiful and comfortable. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters on the first floor, and we were very pleased with it. Chris met us at the door to welcome us and show us around the inn. The Butler's Pantry serves as the self-serve kitchen for guests who opt for the continental breakfast, or who might want... More

My girlfriend and I had a lovely night here. The Victorian mansion is well decorated and beautiful throughout. Pleasant hosts and the house has numerous amenities. We enjoyed an Italian dinner at a nearby (10 minute drive) restaurant. Breakfast at the house was nice. Several state parks/recreation areas are nearby. Nice to hike along the Rock River while in the... More

From the moment you arrive and meet Chris, you know you've found some place special! A beautiful warm home that is spotless and clean ( really not a speck of dust anywhere!) and a warm hostess to show us around and share a story or two. We loved the 24 hour snacks and drinks available and included. The breakfast was... More

Pinehill Inn is a step back in time. It's absolutely beautiful. Our room was on the ground floor, there are others on the 2nd floor. Gorgeous sweeping staircase. Manicured grounds. Hosts Ken & Chris are wonderful. They treat you like family and really pay attention to details. Beautifully prepared and tasty breakfast. Evening snacks are always available in a very... More
