Another seamless transfer from Sofitel Saigon Plaza, Ho Chi Minh City via mini bus and boat, and we arrived at Mekong Lodge, Mekong Delta. Our lasting impression of Mekong lodge will not be its garden bungalows with semi-outdoor bathrooms and boat bathtubs. Nor will it be the lunch and dinner served at the table by the lovely young wait staff.... More

This one is a missed opportunity... The setting is very nice. Right along Mekong river. Lovely, although in places somewhat shabby gardens. Idea of rustic is great but the execution of project falls short of expectation. Swimming pool is nice. The cottages need attention on many levels. Wardrobe doors do not close properly, huge gaps under the doors allowing for... More

Now if you are like me and like a clean good standard hotel then don't come here. Yes it has a few very good sides like the staff was very friendly, helpful, the dinner was good but the room and we where in the new room with private pool. Very poor. It is the standard that I am not happy... More

We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights in December. The trip from Ho Chi Minh to the lodge by car and then boat was seamless and on arrival we were greeted by warm staff and a cool drink. A fantastic pool had just been completed and this was a highlight for our two boys. It set off the lush... More

Pleasant holiday style bungalow accommodation. Reasonably clean. Food average, staff formal. A lot depends on the local guide as movement is quite restricted. There was a lot of noise from nearby sites - loud music - and some may be disturbed by the load noise of boats on the river. A highlight was a bicycle trip through the nearby village... More

What a great spot to visit, we did an overnight stay with our three sons as a break from HCMC. Great rooms, we had side by side small villas with private pools. It was very hot and the water in the pools was like dipping yourself in a cup of tea, but nice to sit on the deck and splash... More

This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Vietnam, better than expected. Our guide showed us some wonderful things and cycling around the villages, farms and small businesses was extremely enjoyable. Could not fault anything about the accomodation, I hope they keep everything the same as they develop and become more popular, the peaceful simplicity is a real asset.... More

Was only able to stay for 1 night/ 2 days. Considering the activities packed into this time 2 nights would have been better to appreciate the lodge itself. Room was great with a plunge pool on the doorstep although the new main pool was more refreshing. The room is step up during your dinner for sleeping under the mosquito nets.... More

We spent 3 nights and days at Mekong Lodge. Very friendly and helpful staff! We enjoyed good vietnamese food, a lot of seafood and fruits. Our Guide Khoaa speeks good english and showed us how people live in the countryside, so our bicycle tours and boat trips gave us a real insider view and have been a highlight of our... More

What an amazing little experience. Such a personal approach on really displaying the true backdrops of Vietnam. Take the time to stay for the 2 night package and choose to cycle where you can. You will have an amazing personalised tour with your guide and learn the way the Vietnamese live off the land and make use of everything possible.... More
