Went to Illinois for a wedding.. never been there before. Stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Oglesby for three nights in March 2009. We stayed at this hotel after a long drive on the Interstate without any prior reservations. A good night's rest at a clean, modern hotel with good bedding and towels. Mattress was a little bouncy, but that didn't prevent a good night's sleep. Internet access in the lobby was appreciated. Good hot breakfast in the morning. more

This hotel we found to be very clean (spotless) and we had great service. The beds are fantastic and the bedding is comfortable. Breakfast of course at the Holiday Express is always good. We were so very dissappointed that the hot tub did not work and hasn't worked since July of last year. That should have been posted somewhere at checkout so someone that specifically stays at Holiday Inn for the hot tub experience after a long day of travel would know to go elsewhere before they booked. more
