The hotel is located in a nice suburb, across from a mall. The room was nicely appointed and clean. The bed was very comfortable, although the mattress may seem soft to some guests. There is free WIFI in the lobby, which provided for a nice (but not private) work area. There is a good Italian restaurant called Tuscany located in... More

My husband and I were looking for a couple's get-away weekend and decided to stay at the Oak Brook Marriott for several reasons: close proximity to the Oak Brook mall (a shopper's delight for sure), not far from I-88 to get to downtown Chicago in about 20 minutes provided that there is no traffic and easily accessible to hook up... I stayed at this Marriott for a business meeting in early June. It was the hotel selected by the meeting organizers since the preferred hotel was booked. It's an average hotel, good for meetings and within walking distance of a nice restaurant (Italian) and the mall is across the street. A plus is on site car rental (Hertz) and Starbucks... More

I hadn't stayed at this Marriott for a number of years as it had become run down and neglected. Decided to try it again since it received a significant make over not long ago. My stay was disappointing. Room appointments were OK, bed was comfortable, bathroom small and still dated in appearance. The lobby had puddles of water in several... More

Your average Marriott, with mattresses that slide off the box spring. Tiny bathroom, awkwardly large desk and chair that needed to be navigated around. Great location. Expensive as well, With big internet fees, altho that is standard Marriott practice.

Perhaps the best property in the immediate Oak Brook area, this is a fairly standard Marriott - a little older footprint, but all the similarities. The major problem is one that I am starting to see in many hotels during these economically challenged times - the mattress was worn out. Only the middle of the kind sized mattress was comfortable... I stayed at this hotel for 1 night on business. Lobby and restaurants are all very nice but the rooms are pretty standard and are showing their age. Bathrooms are very old and there was mildew all over the shower. WiFi is not free as well which should be especially for a business hotel. Also the freeway is right behind... More

Our family stayed at the Chicago Oak Brook Marriot for the weekend for a wedding that was held there. This Hotel is located in a great location. Accross the street is a great mall for those of us who love to shop. Apparently this hotel is very popular for Weddings and Family reunions. There were about 3 different functions going... More

Business facilities were nice enough. The room, on the other hand, was ok, but the way desk and desk chair were situated made it impossible to get around in the room. If you want internet, add another $14.95 per day to your bill. You drink the bottle of water sitting out in the room next to ice bucket and glasses,... More

This proprty does have a couple of things going for it. There is a Hertz counter and a full Starbucks on property. It is across the street from the Oak Brook mall with it's many dining and shopping opportunities. But the property is in need of a makeover. The rooms look tired. The room wasn't as clean as it should... More
