I want to save all people from the terrible experience of staying at this Hotel. The Hotel carpet made our feet BLACK and we could not sleep at night because of some sort of mold growing in the room. It was a discusting Hotel and probably a serious Health Hazard to all. This place should be investigated by the health department and shut down. They claimed their beds were new and they had to be... more

Since we flew into Chicago for our son's Naval graduation, we were without a car (btw, use Airport Express out of O'Hare for a reliable shuttle to the hotel and back to the airport). This hotel is surrounded by a good-enough restaurant and convenience stores for those of us who had to use our feet to get somewhere. This hotel appears to be dedicated to the Naval graduation ceremonies; they will get you there on... more

This hotel is your typical " middle of the road". Do not expect to be impressed but it is clean and comfortable. Our afternoon check-in was with a man of possibly soviet nationality. He was somewhat rude but efficient. The morning staff however was EXTREMELY courteous and helpful, going above and beyond to make suggestions and give directions to places to see and do with our Sailor. Also , the shuttle to the PIR is... more

We stayed at this hotel for our son's Naval graduation and were ok with it for the most part. They advertise a Cotinental breakfast but it's not. What you get is some bad tasting coffee, frozen OJ and a box of stale donuts. Only the front desk person spoke english while the rest of the staff, though friendly, spoke only Polish. The room was clean but very old and in need of paint. The toilet... more

We were at the Navy Boot Camp graduation, and I found this hotel from their brochure. We booked a smoking room, which was ok, but the mattress had a huge hole in it where someone had burned it. The sheets were different colors and old & worn. There were holes in the walls that had been sort of covered over and some that looked like they had just given up. Our door lock had pry... more

I stayed at Red Carpet for sons graduation. When I first got there I thought this would be "ok". I got to my room and it was very out dated. Looked very old and needed paint in a bad way. The room was clean and that was the best part of it. The 2 full beds were a little larger then a twin. They were very cheap and very hard. Bedspread stained and was disgusting.... more

If you are looking for a reasonable low cost place to stay, while attending a bootcamp graduation , this little motel is great place to stay. It kind of reminds u of a christmas card with the roofs blanketed with snow.... has place name Flannagans rt across from it that serves great food .. and does room delivery which is great for the winter time. What the looks don't do for you, since its not... more

Stayed here for two nights in September 2007. I personally enjoyed the place well enough, but I can see how others would not. The room's wallpaper/beds/air conditioning/TV are all quite noticeably outdated. TV reception was choppy on a few channels. Room came with a fridge. Bed was comfortable enough but not elegant or anything of the like. Shower was a bit small. The hotel's location in regards to Gurnee Mills and Six Flags was nice... more

We stayed here while attending our son's graduation from the Navy's Recruit Training. It was very close and convenient to the base and to the freeway exit. The room was clean and had comfortable beds. There was an outdoor pool and hot tub, which we enjoyed at night. I especially loved our room's large dressing area located outside the tub/toilet area. It made it possible for several of us to get ready in a hurry.... more
